For the time being, Adventure will be on an opposite schedule; closed on the weekdays and open only on the weekends. My schedule shifted suddenly and I can only do rolls on the weekends-- thank you for your patience!

Welcome to Maskies' adventuring hub! Here you can send your Maskie out on an adventure, where they have a chance to bring back anything from an item to a Maskie friend!

> Adventuring is non-owner friendly! Once a day you can ask to tag along with Hiraeth. This works similarly to adventuring with your own Maskie, but has a separate form. This is only for non-owners, however, and does not have any added benefits or major differences to regularly adventuring.

> Adventuring is currently open Monday through Friday and closed on the weekends; this follows CS time :)

> You can adventure once a day-- this also follows CS time, and resets on rollover. You will have to wait until results are posted before posting your next adventure, however c:

> Up to three Maskies can be sent out at once, but only one reward will be given, and they can only visit one location. Your most experienced Maskie will take the lead, so if you have a Maskie eligible for one location with higher requirements and others that aren't, you can still visit said location!

> Some locations have a chance of encountering another Maskie! If you choose to keep them, please quote that section of the results and confirm this. If you choose to reject them, please add this in your next adventuring post.

> The link to your previous adventure post should be your post, not the results c:

> You can format the adventuring form however you'd like, so long as the required information is included!

Non-owners are welcome to adventure--
it will just work slightly differently c:
Hiraeth is an experienced traveler who
has seen a majority of what Dolos has to
offer; as such, she acts as a guide to those
curious!

Every week, Hiraeth will pick a location
to visit. Just like normal adventuring, all
you need to do is fill out the appropriate
form, and Hiraeth will help you find something c:

> Hiraeth is for non-owners only-- if you own a Maskie, you may not adventure with Hiraeth.

> If you come across a Maskie whilst out with Hiraeth and decide to keep it, you won't be able to adventure with Hiraeth again unless you trade or give away your Maskie(s) and no longer own any.

> As stated above, Hiraeth picks a location weekly. The form will change to reflect this, so just make sure to grab the updated version as needed!

Town - One or more Maskies
Not so much of an adventure as a nice walk. . .
20% chance to find nothing
80% chance to find crystals (15 to 100)

Quiet Woods - One or more Maskies
The Quiet Woods make a protective barrier around town. The woodland creatures are quite used to Maskies, living so close to the town, making this the ideal place for unexperienced adventurers to dip their paws in the water, so to speak.
10% chance to find a Maskie
20% chance to find a Friend
30% chance to find crystals (100-250)
40% chance to find Quiet Woods-specific items OR shop items

Bamboo Grove - One or more Maskies who have visited the Quiet Woods 5x or more
Something about this place holds a weight you don't quite understand. It's calm, almost ethereal in its beauty, but something about the seemingly endless, towering stalks of bamboo unnerves you. You get the feeling something ancient used to live here long ago.

Fool's Cavern - One or more Maskies who have adventured 5x or more, not including Town
You're not really sure why you're here, or how you got here, but there's a crudely painted sign planted in front of this cave. In messy, scratchy scrawl, it reads: 'TURN BACK NOW'. A second sign hangs crookedly atop the entrance: 'GO AWAY'.
15% chance to find crystals (250-400)
25% chance to encounter Cas (???)
60% to find the cave empty

Gloomy Swamp - One or more Maskies who have adventured 10x or more, not including Town
5% chance to find a Maskie
10% chance to have to turn back
15% chance to find crystals

50% chance to find Swamp-specific items

Illusionary Forest - One or more Maskies who have visited the Gloomy Swamp 5x or more
This forest is constantly shifting-- you could get easily lost in here, following paths which don't exist, hearing sounds made to deceive, wandering for days. There are valuable things to be found, but are they worth the danger?

Friends are, well, friends, that you can find whilst adventuring! Dolos is inhabited by creatures of all kinds, and sometimes one might want to join you! They function sort of like items in that you can apply them to your Maskie, but unlike items, they are not one-time use, and you can switch which Friend is accompanying your Maskie as often as you'd like.

As of right now they are purely cosmetic, but I plan to make them have some sort of effect that changes from Friend to Friend.

> Each type of Friend can only be accepted once, and they cannot be gifted or traded away.

> You can reject a Friend, and it will be added back into the pool of possible Friends to encounter. Once you accept a Friend, however, you won't encounter it whilst adventuring again.

> Friend application posts must be posted to the shop thread, especially if you are layering Friends and normal items!

> Even if your Friend is not applied to your Maskie like a dressup, when I eventually give Friends their own buffs and effects, that effect will still be in effect.

> Friends can be removed and re-added to your Maskie as many times as you'd like. Once you have a Friend, it stays with you.

> Friends are like items in the sense that they're not all unique. Multiple people can find the same Friend c:
