you get them from the banner. ive gotten way too many and its honestly a pain. but yea, theyre from the banner. or trading someone- but the origin is the banners ^^

Yes, you can randomly get an animal egg instead of an egg token from the banner. That's the only way to get them

Is the banner limit going to be raised later tonight, as I've now reached the limit? Can't remember if last Easter it was 250, or even 300.

Is this normal? I have found 200 tokens but what if I am trading some right now? Will I be able to find more?

There isn't any specific schedule to when the limit gets raised so we don't know yet. Usually it doesn't get raised until a decent number of people have hit the limit.

This is normal, there is always a banner limit for events, usually set at 150 or 200 at first and raised a few times over the course of the event (usually at 300 by the end). It means you can take a break from egg hunting for now :) Trading for tokens doesn't have any impact on what you can get from the banner, so whether you trade for some or not, you'll still be able to get more once the limit gets raised.

I don't believe the egg tokens have any sort of rarities. I have a similar problem where I hardly get any of the green ones with the brown bow though. It should just be luck though. Just try looking through the forums and swap tokens with people 1:1 for whichever colors you need!

The last day of new releases for the event is usually on or right after Easter, which is probably why the news post said 10 days since Easter is on the 9th. On the last day of releases it'll be announced how much more time we have for token hunting and trading in our tokens for event pets. Usually we will get a couple extra days to hunt tokens, and a few more after that before trade-ins close.
