He is always doing his best to do for others. He always says do onto others as you would
want others to do onto you. He is very easy going and likes to relax, and never gets
irritated in any situation. He is quite charming and captivating, the way he moves around
so effortlessly charms almost anyone. Usually until he opens his mouth. His imagination
gets ahold of him sometimes and he will be caught daydreaming at all hours of the day.

Magus is someone you can depend on, hes not very good at doing things for himself
but if asked he will do anything and make it his top priority. He's honest to a fault and so
sincere you can tell he means everyrhing he says and always means well. He loves to talk
and joke around, especially with Aether. He is the more sociable of the two.

Sometimes he can doze off and get a little lost in the day, especially if the day was full
of tasks he himself had to do. And magus can definetely get quite annoying at times, and
Aether has no problems letting the other tom know when he needs to stop and be quiet
for a moment. Aether usually has to pick up the extra workload because Magus gets a little
lazy when it comes to doing stuff for himself and would rather go and drift off underneath
a tree somewhere.

A quiet moment alone, a gentle breeze and a beam of light ever so slightly missing the closed eyes of a puffed up very comfy looking creature. At their side, a curled up horned beast with specks of color dotting their pelt, lie motionless, basking in the sun and taking a nice midday nap. Eyes open as a quick puff of air blows upwards, briefly pushing the flop of fur covering their face aside. Bright blue eyes stared up at the equally bright sky, and with a quiet and quick yawn they stretched their body out and slumped back up against the tree they were nestled on. What was once the perfect position of the midday sun now lies glaring into their eyes, causing them to squint and adjust their position more. A small annoyance in the grand scheme of things, if it were anyone but (name here). The gentle breeze combined with the harsh light from the sun reminded them of a day, maybe not too long ago..very similar to this one.


Magus and Aether always got along. If you count Aether making fun of Magus constantly as "getting along". One would say he acted as a verbal punching bag but Magus always knew deep down it was all in good fun. Others just didn't quite understand their relationship. On days they had free from duty they would go down to the forest and lounge around in the sun talking about anything and everything. On this particular day Magus was in a bit of a pickle, worrying about a deadline he had with collecting some stuff for another member of the clan.

Magus always noticed when something was wrong with Aether, he could just look at him and know in an instant how he was feeling, but the same couldn't be said about Aether.

"I can't believe I left this til the last minute. Now I don't have that much time to hang out. I need to not be so lazy." He would constantly complain to Aether,letting his counterpart know how he was feeling because of this.

"Oi She can wait a little longer yeah? Hanging out with me is more important"

Like always though Magus would complain enough and annoy Aether so much the two of them would go off and finish whatever Magus had promised someone. He knew he would get it done regardless but maybe he just enjoyed having his best friend help him out.

This particular day stood out to him though, and as he looked back on it now he realized just how much he appreciated Aether and how little he showed him that appreciation. For all the times hes stood up for him when he was the butt of the joke to the times he would quietly sit with him just so he had company. He was a true friend and simple, every day days were the ones that stood out because they might not be special to anyone else looking in, but to him they meant everything.
Being able to spend every day with someone and not having to do something extraordinary to keep their attention meant something….and even if he was annoying sometimes Aether would never abandon him. He meant everything to Magus..and he always would.


The stirring of Serendipity at his side prompted his mind to refocus back on the here and now, a small smile now playing at his mouth. He moved a bit around and looked over to his other companion,serendipity who had finally awoken from her nap.

“Have a nice nap, seren?...Right then! Best we go and find that troublemaker, see what he’s been getting up to.”
And with a final stretch they both willed themselves off the comfy earth and began walking to their destination, ready for another day of work with his best friend, Aether.

Upon walking into the room that aether frequently inhabited he came upon a rather frazzled looking tom. He was about to open his mouth however Aether quickly interrupted whatever it was he was going to say with a loud “YOU! You were supposed to be the lid!” "Why weren't you the lid?!"

Que confusion as Magus glanced down at serendipity.
"Whats a lid?"
