al situations, though, when conversed with, he'll awkwardly but happily
oblige, however him initiating an interaction is far more unlikely. His pr
ominent inability to communicate with his peers had led him to be extr
emely stressed in the presence of crowds and has an issue with holding
eye contact with others. The fear of social interaction isn't the only thi
ng that ails him as he keeps his interests and private life as unknown as
possible to his peers due to not wanting to be seen or known; this some
what stems from his childhood─born and raised in Malaysia until the ag
e of ten, Denji moved to Japan where he learned to keep his head dow
n and work diligently without drawing attention to himself. His adaptab
ility and determination managed to get him through his first year of NR
C, after waking up in a coffin, his confusion had almost instantaneously
dissolved into an iron-clad resolve to do his best in both the curriculum
and his responsibilities as a Ramshackle student. Due to his studiousness
, his self-induced isolation has caused him to be rather dense and naïve
as well as have a very blunt manner of speaking. Similarly, he prefers to
show affection towards friends through actions rather than words as he i
s more than aware of the unintentional negative connotations his speech

regal and forthright, calix follows the fairest queen’s
spirit of tenacity to the highest degree. holding house
pomefiore with an iron grip. his strive for beauty is
unyielding, as is his need to keep all those under
pomefiore’s roof under close observation. so long as
calix is around, no uniform will be messy, nor will any
strand of hair be out of place. a perfectionist at
heart, calix strives for greatness in every aspect.
outside of his dorm, calix gives off a calm and airy
disposition. both charming as he is soft-spoken.
he speaks with social grace, and acts with the utmost
politeness—of course, anyone who occupies house
pomefiore would be quick to argue he is far more
cold and calculated behind the scenes. he won’t
accept anything other than flawlessness from his
peers, and has developed the tendency to be overly
critical over just about everyone—including himself.
as such, he struggles to truly enjoy social settings,
due to his frequent evaluation on his and other
peoples performances. often leading him to find
social interaction mentally taxing.

as expected from the housewarden of pomefiore,
he is an exceptional poison maker. with a knack for
brewing the deadliest if poison and potions alike.
despite his status, not much is truly known about
calix outside of his school life. oddly, he seems quite
intent to keep it that way. growing rather uneasy
when mentions of how his life outside of school is.
in that regard he is rather reserved, prone to
keeping to himself outside of his duties.

his signature spell “mirror, mirror” allows him to
reveal one thing about a person. from their deepest
insecurities, to their darkest secret. calix can pinpoint
an individual’s greatest weakness and use it to his
advantage, be it a unruly classmate or a opponent in
battle. alas, such a powerful spell requires a great
deal of magic, and can take quite a toll if abused.

▸ strengths: adaptability/fast learning, general magic,

▸ Kaimi is a bit notorious for causing chaos wherever he sets foot.
Some words that he has heard a number of times include “rambunctious”
and “troublesome”, and while there is some truth to these descriptors,
there is no doubt that Kaimi is a skilled and competent mage.
Both his magic reserves and athletic abilities surpass those of most
normal students, and his adaptability to almost any situation should
make him a formidable and respected housewarden. How he uses these
skills, however, makes one wonder how he even got the position in the
first place.

Kaimi is not easy to get along with; he causes trouble, gets in trouble,
and gets others in trouble with him. This has led to him not being very
popular with both his instructors and peers, and combined with his magical
abilities and chaotic nature, many students are uneasy when they are
around him. Even the students in his own dorm tend to avoid him even
though he is their housewarden, as a challenge won by power alone
does not instill loyalty. One thing this has done, however, is cause Kaimi
to take a hit to his self esteem. He feels that he does not belong in
Savanaclaw, NRC, or even anywhere else in the world. Although alienation
from his dormmates contributes to these feelings, Kaimi’s odd appearance
and dubious origins from a facility in Briar Valley certainly have an effect
on him as well.

Even if Kaimi’s negative aspects are the ones that tend to stay after first
impressions, he really does mean well (sometimes). Although Kaimi has
gotten used to being independent, he does try to help others sometimes
and is trying to work towards being more agreeable. He is also very fun-
loving, and if someone doesn’t care about the risks, the things Kaimi
does really can be enjoyable. If given the chance to have a place where
he feels he belongs, Kaimi will also fight tooth and nail (literally) to
protect it and the things they care about. Additionally, even if someone
does somehow maintain a relationship with Kaimi, he is still
mischievous by nature and will demonstrate it through various
(potentially annoying) actions and behaviors.
