isn't there always like a prank? like I know there was a prank for the last 2 years. is there a prank this year? am i just like not smart? pls like i'm so confuzzled

my little baby boy here begs to differ

...jokes aside, usually when an event is running at the same time, the april fool's pranks get toned down a lot so as to not make things needlessly frustrating for users.
A lot of the more elaborate   jokes over the years were stuff that would be super distracting when there's also another, more involved event going on.^^

is it just specific pets? or is it just doing it to all of them overtime?

Literally, of COURSE YOU DID! I had 99C$ and thought "Ah, I'm good. They're usually 80 max!"

But also thank you. I lost my dog very tragically last month, and this month would've been her 10th birthday. The last one I linked is almost identical to what she looked like. So I got some hoarding to do!

I love the new store pets so much!! I was thinking last night “what if the new stores are wiener dogs?” and they are!!
