ravenstar was born to stormflame and gingerstripe in rowanclan, and lived a
rather normal life, growing up with his brother, pebbleheart. in kithood they
were rambunctious, often causing trouble in the medicine cat den or with the
snowclan elders. when he was apprenticed, his mentor was a cat named icepath,
one of his fathers closest friends, and she was the best mentor he could have
asked for. he was finally made a warrior, named ravenwing, and was known for
his loyalty and ambition.

a moon later, another apprentice was named a warrior - cherryheart. ravenwing
had never really cared to look at any others outside of his brother and mentor,
as he was going to be the best warrior in snowclan - and he was willing to give
up a family for that. however, the two would patrol together often, and when
they were about 20 moons, they were apprenticed a pair of siblings, two that
were almost inseparable. this lead to ravenwing and cherryheart co-teaching
training sessions, and it was only then that he realized what an amazing molly
she really was.

he was 30 moons old when their kit was born - precious little nightkit. a spitting
image of ravenwing, although he took his mothers eyes. only a couple of moons
into his sons kithood, ravenwing was named the deputy of snowclan, and those
around him were excited, albiet not surprised. when his son began showing an
interest in medicine at a young age, ravenwing was ecstatic, as was cherryheart.
he was more than supportive of his son becoming the medicine cat - in fact, he
found the idea of being a medicine cat more noble than being a leader.

when the fire raged through the forest, he unfortunately lost his parents, brother
and his beloved mate. thank the stars that nightsong survived - albeit it now his
son was forced into a role that he didn't appear ready for. together they ran from
their home, and once they came across the other jagged group of survivors, it
became known that ravenwing was the only one that survived who had a higher
rank, and thus, he was chosen to lead this new group.

dovelight was a rather un-notable apprentice, and was honestly just going with
the flow of life. she was apprenticed to a mediocre warrior in the clan, and was
often pre-occupied with her twin brother, swanpaw, who was much more talkative
and sociable than she. she was aware of another apprentice casually tailing behind
her, bearpaw, but never really paid much attention to him either. dovepaw would
just want to be left alone - her brother was already enough for her. that, and her
parents never truly loved one another, and it put her off from romance.

despite her non-impressive mentor and training, she became one of the best
hunters in the clan. she was able to easily catch rabbits on her own, and other
cats tacked that up to her being smaller and quicker. when he was named warrior,
beartuft was rarely seen outside a 3 foot radius of dovelight. she was overly
aware of it, and she had to admit it - his kindness and charisma was a great way
to cheer her up.

after a long time of dodging love, she finally succumbed to it in their late warrior
hood, but finally, she agreed to be beartufts mate, and it is a decision that she
would never regret - though now, after raising one kit, she wishes she would have
agreed sooner. it was a joy that she didn't know was possible. ever since, her and
beartuft have been nearly inseparable.

about 10 moons ago, dovelight was out on a hunting patrol, and they encountered
a group of snowclan warriors hunting on brookclan land. unfortunately, a battle
ensued and due to her aging body, dovelight was not as agile as she would have
liked to been, and unfortunately, a snowclan warrior swiped at dovelights face,
and permanently blinded her. because of this, dovelight was forced to retire early,
and now has a resentment towards snowclan.
