Hoard Discussions Thread v.7!

Anyone else find it infuriating when you hoard something but try to trade someone and your hoard pet is on their wishlist- thus you have to scroll for like a billion pages past the hoard pet XD

That's why most of my hoards aren't on my WL.

i finally finished dressing my 2010 rainbow cat collection!!
a while ago I was looking for fitting hoodies for each color and I have finally collected enough hoodies to match all 200 of them! I'm very cheesed


this collection I started in 2010 can officially come to a close now, I love seeing them!

and with all the hoodies gathered I'm able to easily count each color I have by looking at my items
27 purple
29 green
33 blue
34 red
36 orange
and a whopping 41 yellow

thanks for the help to those who recommended trying the bunny and tiger jackets! I think they match perfectly

I paid 2 C$ per bunny hoodie or a 2019 uncommon, often times I'd overpay by double or more because they were so challenging to find, most of the time people just didn't want to part with them ^^' I can see why if they were 3 tokens per 2 hoodies! I didn't play during that year so I had no idea- I actually thought they were free items before now

also that pet is perfect for your tennis court collection omg I just looked at your group and that is insane dedication!!

I saw you looking for the bunny hoodies. Out of curiosity, what were you trading for them? I got a refresher and it looks like they cost 3 tokens per random two hoodies, which is a big yikes.
I forgot to specify since I was in a hurry, the bunny hoodies cost tokens, the others were free

I've just gone all out with the tennis court theme. I've only ever just saw this site as a place to collect things, but I think I might have to write some story for these guys.

Started doing themed hoards c: I struggle to commit to hoards, so I tried a newish way of hoarding. It's going well!

Siamese babs, pets with Siamese markings. I own two Siamese cats irl. (Not purebred, both are rescued and have seal-point Siamese markings.)

Fruit punch, Bit of a tropical theme; bright warm colors with cool color markings. Or Colors that remind you of popsicles.

Open swim, pets with water designs/fits with water aesthetics.

PNG, pets with transparent parts in their designs or clear/glass.

That's just some of them, and I'm still going through my pet collection to place in those groups + place on wishlist ❤️ I completed my uncommon and under collection, so these hoards will give me something to do!

Heck yes! I do the partially-clear pets as well, I call it my Glass Menagerie. Themed hoards are basically all I do!

ETA, since I started doing these I have a lot of hoards now... I need to go through the archives and properly put all of the ones I need on my WL.

Anyone else have so many different hoards but pets that fit into many different groups so they end up all getting mixed up and you have to constantly sort them over n over again or is that just me lol

I'm so glad to see them finished! They are a positively adorable hoard - and they tempt me to do a pet/item hoard myself, but I'm on the fence about what I'd do for that xD

Thankfully I have all my own hoards and possible hoards in fully locked groups, so they only really show up at the very end of someone's wishlist UNLESS that person's list is VERY short.
