[Suggestion] "You own this pet." Tag

I'd support something like this, and I'd hope it gets added to the pound too because I have, on multiple occasions, adopted a pet I already had from a previous pound opening.

This is a great idea! I used to always forget which pets that I already own. See temporary solution below. A "You own this pet tag" would help people avoid unknowingly trading for a pet they already own. To avoid taking up a lot of space during trades, a green checkmark could be used without any text. This way the WL star and the "Owned Pet" tag could be shown for every pet without making each page too long.

In the meantime, I have come up with a temporary solution. Instead of using the WL to share my favorite pets, I use it to keep track of all of the pets I own or are in the process of trading for. When I trade, I know to not request any pet with a star. This way I avoid accidentally trading for a pet that will just end up in my trade group. If a trade is cancelled, I remove the pet from my WL.

Negatives
Most people (logically) assume that I want pets on my WL. I have needed to make a rule in my trading center that is sometimes overlooked or misunderstood. Also, since the WL is my version of the "You own this pet tag" I don't have a way to show other players what my favorite pets really are.

P.S. I wasn't sure if this thread was the place to post my temporary solution, but I figured that anyone who was already here might appreciate the solution for what it is.

{It might be nice too if it worked both ways-- so the other person can see "your trade partner already owns this pet." I'm not sure how much more complex the code would be for that but, it would be neat xD}

Maybe also instead of a “wishlist locked” group have a “pets they dont own” lock feature so it could help with trading? Then people dont have to offer for things the other person isnt looking for at all, ive had to cancel some trades do to this. sometimes i dont want to put every pet im missing on my wishlist, but im still looking for pets im missing- its just less of a priority.
