Maddie blushed and hid her face in the crook of his neck, giggling a bit. Her stomach growled at the same time as his and she squeaked in embarrassment. "That definitely wasn't me. " She giggled shyly.

Soren paused for a moment before he chuckled and playfully patted her belly. "Sure it wasn't" he said sarcastically, handing her the unopened bag of chips he left on the beside table. "Here" he added, kissing her cheek lovingly.

Maddie blushed and took the bag gently, giggling when he gave her a kiss. " Thank you.. " She said softly, opening it and handing a small handful before eating one.

Soren smiled gently at her and laid back down, gaping his jaws in a wide yawn as tiredness seemed to overcome him. Why was he so tired anyway? As he began to drift off however his chest beeped, causing him to jump in surprise and let out a soft yelp.

Maddie looked at him with slightly amused eyes. " What's wrong? Your going to have to get used to it. " She said, having already accepted the noise.

The blond looked down at his chest and sighed, tracing a finger along the incision line and frowning. "I know.. it's just different.. and I don't want it to drive you away.." he said, his voice cracking as he mumbled the last part.

Maddie rolled her eyes playfully at him. " I'll never leave you Soren. " She said softly, glancing down at her ring. She smiled a bit looking at him. " I'll be here forever and always. " She said.

Smiling at her words the blond felt warm and fuzzy inside, he was so glad he had her in his life. "Thank you.. same here, you're stuck with me" he said with a chuckle. Wrapping his arms around her waist he pulled her onto his lap and rested his chin on her shoulder.

Maddie went quiet as she drifted off in his arms, on his lap. She pressed against his chest and laid her head back on his shoulder. Maddie soon began to snore very lightly, absolutely exhausted.

Laying back against the bed Soren held her close and smiled, finding her to be rather cute. Keeping her close to his chest he closed his eyes and let out a soft sigh, his head was starting to hurt for some reason so he hoped a bit of rest would help it feel better.
