Sometimes, we just need to see something. A beacon of light I suppose. Another way out besides plan B.
And other times we need to feel something. Just something to warm our hearts. A warm embrace to tell us that we're loved.
Still other times, we need to hear it. Those three, sincere words:
"I love you"
Then, We feel complete.

This is the first picture of my new character Leo, a feral tom. It turned out pretty good, but I think that I'm going to remove the shadow, it makes the river of Light look kinda fun.
The river is kind of showing two things at once. For one thing it's splitting off and going around Leo. This is representing all of the things in life we don't need. All the things that don't help build a good life and self esteem blow past iff you will.
The other thing are all of the light "creaatures" (I can't think of a right name X3) are embracing Leo. Light is warming and helpful. This part shows all of the things gathering together to help you and embrace you, despite what you are or what you're doing there.
So all together it's basically showing that even though there are good and bad aspects of life, they all surround you no matter what. Although you can choose what you want to do with them and how you handle them.
(Also how confusing it all is XD)

Timer is off because of distraction and the fact that I couldn't decide what to do for a background.
Okay, now I have to go back and edit. I always realize all my mistakes while I'm writing the post -.-

how did you do the bg?

I used so many tools, sizes, and scatters I can't explain in depth but I'll try:
1. Set a dark grey base color.
2. Airbrushed on a light yellow then took the dodge tool and ran it through the middle to make the edges yellow and the center white.
3. Take the same yellow color the airbrush a rim on the river; took a blending tool and ran in along both sides of the new lines tho soften it.
4. Took a size 9ish airbrush, lowered the opacity, and raised the scatter and ran it along the edge.
5. Took a size 6ish airbrush, raised the opacity, and slightly lowered the scatter and did the same.
6. Repeated the step above but with a size 3 airbrush; repeated this again with a size 1 air brush.
7. Burred the river to soften it.
8. Added fork last minute by added same dark grey I used for the base, re-dodged, then repeated steps 3-7.
9. Took a dark tealish color and added it lightly the the dark grey space.

This is incredible. It looks so magical and mysterious, like the stream of light is a living thing. I could stare at it for hours.
