I remember growing up I always sort of frowned upon the holidays. My family never had the most money so it was always sort of disheartening to watch what seemed to be everyone else around me always having the best holidays with their families.
But that was a long time ago. Now mind you nothing has changed for us financially but I have a great appreciation for every holiday now, I love being able to take the holidays as a sign to slow down and just enjoy where you are in life and who you are with. Everybody in my life currently just mean so much to me and the holidays are a good time to reflect on the love you get and the love you give <33
