It's a lil tricky finding PS5 stuff that isn't also on PS4 or PC right now. I can't think of any FPS I've played, but that's also not my biggest genre! Open world, if you haven't played Ghost of Tsushima for PS4 yet, the PS5 has a Director's Cut with extra content. I enjoyed Ghost of Tsushima very much!
I don't think RDR2 has any PS5-exclusive content, but once you get to be able to run around and do the open world stuff it is VERY fun to cowboy! 🥺💖
If you're interested in The Last of Us at all, the latest iteration is "Part 1" on the PS5. TLoU is one of my favorite games, but not to the point of grabbing a console just for another remake of it lol. It's a 3rd person shooter, and not open world, but the story and characters are some of my favorites.
Stray, aka The Kitty Cat Game, is an option! Not one I've personally played, but we have a copy for PS4 and I do look forward to playing it when I feel able! I've heard it's pretty short, but I mean: kitty cat.
If you're into horror, the Dead Space remake came out recently. If you like from software, both the Demon's Souls remake and Bloodborne are on there.
If all else fails, you can browse wikipedia lol. ^^
We recently played God of War 2018 and Ragnarok, and they were amazing! (And devastating!) 🥺🥺🥺 If you have Ragnarok for PS5 and haven't picked up 2018, I highly suggest it as they're basically two halves of one story.
I hope you have fun with your new PS5! I may eventually pick one up for FFXVI or the Like a Dragon historical setting game, but I'll need to hear more about them first! FFXVI is NOT sounding promising, unfortunately. 😭
The Horizon Games are the absolute best in my opinion. I will never not recommend them. I have thought about getting into the Last of Us games, but I don't know where to start. As far as I am aware there are a few different games out. Do I just start with the first game or is there a game they released later that's kind of like a prequel? This is why it sucks getting into gaming later in life, I'm so behind on stuff I feel like I should know already
