Mouse couldn't believe what she was hearing. Rion, a warrior, the same who had given her food the day prior, was being turned into an Omega as punishment? She was going to be given his rank, that of a warrior, despite being untrained? She really couldn't believe it... and of course Arian, spoiled and high ranking, would think Mouse would be happy for this news. A taste of a life she could never truly have, a punishment for Rion that would never stick. One day was not enough time to make Mouse have others look at her with respect, nor was it enough time for Rion to know true hunger and despair. To not trust his pack mates, to be looking at the ground for fear that he may provoke an attack. Did Arian want Mouse to be grateful for this?

"I fear that our packmates may continue to see me as an Omega and Rion as the warrior he is, if the time limit is set to only a day. Rion could never know what an Omega endures, not like I do, in such a brief moment." She said to the ground, but after a moment, Mouse raised her eyes to Arian's. "Will you vouch for me, if others continue to treat me in a bad manner, upon this day? Will you take the responsibility for the consequences this idea of yours may have? You may call me a warrior and pack member, Lead Warrior, but the others in this pack surely will not." A pause. "Is there anything I can do to plead my case and extend Rion's fate, or indeed, will it only be for one day, after all is said and done?" She asked.

Arian watched Mouse carefully. While she expected some sort of reaction, and knew many Omegas would love to have been promoted, even if only for a while, she couldn’t help but find Mouse's reaction a little…underwhelming. She wasn’t sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing, but she expected everyone was entitled to react in the way that came naturally. Mouse was certainly no exception to that rule. "The only rule is I cannot give a permanent punishment. I’ve spoken with the Alpha. It will be up to him when he feels the punishment has been enough, be it a day, a week, or a month. Yes, you have my word. I’m the one who proposed this, and so I will take responsibility, whatever comes of it. Should the others continue to treat you as the Omega you were promoted from, they’re answering to me."

Arian cast a quick glance towards Max. She didn’t know how long he would drag this out for, she didn’t know how long it would take to learn, but a lesson had to be taught. That was the key thing here. "That’s something you would have to discuss with the Alpha. As a Lead, my capability to punish is limited, as my primary job is simply to rally and lead. He would vouch for you in this time too, as he is the one who agreed to the idea," she promised.

The young healer smiled at Linkk, then looked at Navii "Kaden? no, not yet, but you could try the den-mothers den, the pup may be still sleeping" she responded to the hunter. Her eyes looked at her leg for a moment "so is your leg feeling any better this morning? I hope the golden rot is helping" she said lowering her head down a little bit to sniff the leg 'yeah it doesn't smell like infection' she thought to herself and faced the hunter again.

She smirked at her and let her ear go "did that yesterday rip tired you so much that you sleep like a little pup" she said "is that maybe a plan how to make you not to woke the wolves so early every morning?" she continued. She looked at the den and some of the sleeping figures were there "or maybe they will approve that you woke them up? Most of them are having their beauty sleeps still" she said with a flick of her tail.

He didn't face the wolf under him, hearing him talking though but he felt embarrassed "Oh it was you...your fur seemed so soft and all, I was so dozy that I saw you a very warm and soft nest just waiting for me to fell over..." he said. He stumbles back up, flattening his ears for a moment 'that's maybe the stupidies explain ever...' he thought to himself.

He sat near the entrance of the camp, the weather seemed chillier this morning than it was yesterday, but the sun was brightening beautifully and the sky seemed very calm. He felt proud of himself and the hunters that they were able to find something large than a deer to the pack yesterday and maybe if they were lucky maybe there could be more of those lost young bucks around.

She shook her head a looked around the somewhat empty den, Lukina was always going somewhere and so were her pups. Maybe that was because they started to be impatient to continue their other duties when Sorin leave the nursery and Lukina goes back to being a hunter. She sighed at the thought, she was sued to be around some other wolves at the den, and when those two and Kaden leaves she will be alone at the den-mothers den. As long as some other she-wolf doesn't find things out and join the den-mothers den, she didn't know if there were any mates in the pack.

She flicked her ears as she listened to her fellow den mate "well I did see them together yesterday morning before I got out with the hunting patrol" she remembered what she saw yesterday "yes I did go into a large hunting party, it's my biggest one, but I don't 'think I did much there at all, I just listened to Toby and chased the deer we found, but the adult ones did the most job on that hunt" she said with a sight. She shook her head a little bit "I think they didn't want me to risk or mess things up on that important hunt" she said.

The elderly wolf was sleeping at his nest, flicking his ears to the sudden voices at the clearing, the snow did that crackling sound under the wolf's paws. It was kind of a funny little game to try to listen to those sounds and get where they are leading, the closest ones could only mean that he was maybe going to have visitors, but so far all the sounds carried further.

She looked at the clearing as she saw the alpha she walked to him, knowing that he was able to speak to Enui. She took a respectful greet for both of them before turning to Max "Morning Alpha, Beta..." she called out "I am not going to bother you two for long, but I was thinking to take a hunting parol out now if that's alright with you and you don't have anything which could need the whole pack's presence?" she asked the alpha.

Her eyes followed the kind of lost-looking hunter Quin there, which seemed like she was looking for someone. It didn't long for her to figure out who was she looking at and she was not sure if she actually liked it or not. The hunter was not a bad one, she was pretty nice yesterday, but she felt that even if she didn't say it out loud, she wanted her gone. She was friends with Kassandra, so she hoped that this hunter, whom she found a little selfish could not get in their way.

He watched the conversation between the lead warrior and omega, not sharing a thing they were speaking about, but he was curious to know, Thought it could be obvious if he just walked near them to do nothing, sighing he turned toward the second moving wolf caught his eyes "morning Blaze, you're up early..." he said to the warrior "what do you think about the Arian's shift plan to Mouse and Rion?" he asked suddenly. He wanted to hear what the others were thinking about it because he personally understood the Rion's punishment to be an omega one day, but Mouse being a warrior, he didn't understand that at all. Mouse was not omega because their alpha wanted at least one to be for that rank, but she was because of her health problems and those problems could not leave during a day she is shifted to be a warrior, she could still be unable to do want warriors are supposed to do.

He lay at his nest fully awaken, but too tired to leave the nest just yet. Yesterday was interesting as he was asked to go with the new lead hunter to check the lands outside of their lands. Which didn't really bother him at all as he was thinking the extra same thing, but now he didn't need to speak that out with the alpha at all. He enjoyed the little trip to the unclaimed lands and he was pleased to see that the trip did do some good for his brother Lucifer as well, for a long time the dark hunter seemed to be excited and happy.

He picked some small mouse away from the fresh-kill pile and ate it, this mouse was being there for the whole day and it started to stink there, so he thought to eat it, so no food could not get to waste and it was still eatable.

He nodded little sad "yeah, finding any eatable prey to feed as least two wolves is hard" he responded to her with a flick of his tail "but I heard that our new lead hunter party found wild boar tracks near our lands if they're not moved too far maybe today the hunters may found the boars?" he said to her as she followed her to the pile of food. He thought about her question for a second "well it's a little different for a hunter...I mean Morain always says to me that some of those moves can be used for hunting too, I think it's pretty nice" he responded.

He curled around his nest, yesterday was a pretty boring day for him, as Leonidas his trainer got sick and all of his training plans got canceled. He asked for his father to join the Octavias check hunting party, but of course, they didn't let him join that as they thought it could be too dangerous for a trainee. He eventually missed asking Arian what his trainer asked him to ask her as the patrol left the camp before he got the chance to even got to her, luckily SIra was nice enough to give him some of her time and took him out for a little walk around the borders. He rolled to his paws, and run to the healer's den "morning everyone...so how Leonidas is doing? Can he train with me today?" he asked whoever was able to respond to him.

She sighed as she stood up to her paws yawning she looked at her brother who was calling for the healers. She could answer him too, but she knows very well that answer from her mouth could not satisfy the warrior trainee, instead, he could want to hear them from more experienced ones. Her eyes followed the figure of Ekaterina walking away 'she is leaving again? why is she leaving all the time?' she thought to herself, but this time she just sat down and did nothing.

The pretty gray she wolf smiled a bit at the white she wolf. "Good morning," she said, then shook her head a couple times. "Not doing much today, staying in camp. I guess I'll just be watching over Sorin and Kaden again today. I...believe Navii wants to spend some time with Kaden," she said. She sighed and tried not to be annoyed when Sunlight only greeted Shadow. Then again, Shadow had called her over. Hearing what they talked about, she dipped her head, saying "I..Ill leave you to it."

The smaller and slender black-phase pup shook his head a couple times. He looked up at the adults, and let out a small breath. He glanced to Sunlight as she walked over. She only greeted Shadow, and he shook his head at this fact. He then glanced to his mother. He walked over and nosed at her leg, feeling bored.

The pretty dark she wolf nodded to the female trainee. "Well...it doesn't hurt as bad as it did after getting hurt, but it still hurts. I'm guessing I'm going to be in camp all day. I need to rest it, right?" she asked the other she wolf. She then called "Kaden, are you up? Come join us over here," and hoped he was actually awake, otherwise she'd have to go find him. That wouldn't take long to do anyway. She'd be able to get him and come back over here, if she needed to.

The lighter brown semi fluffy one smiled back at her, then sighed a bit. "I want to hang out with Blizzard, or Chronos or Comet..." He muttered this without realizing he said it aloud. He then shook his head a couple times. He said "Well, it's good if it doesn't hurt as bad, right?" He then glanced around a moment.

The darker faced brown male woke up, knowing exactly what day it was...He left the den, quick, since he was now acting omega. He passed by Arian and Mouse, since neither had approached them. Mouse had no reason to, anyway. He dipped his head to both, then quickly headed off. He knew he wasn't going to be allowed to eat, probably, so he stayed away from the prey pile. He knew he was in for a day of hunger...Shaking his head, he sat down and stared at his paws.

The pretty black-phase she wolf sniffed and snuffled a bit. She then shook her head and stood up, glancing around. She wanted to hang out with Kass again. Serafina had been nice to hang around as well, but her heart lay with Kass. Alright, that...that probably sounded a little weird. Shaking her head, she stepped from the den and looked around. She was trying to catch a glimpse of the pelt of the other dark she wolf. What a beautiful fur it was, too.

She felt eyes on her, turning around to find...Serafina. She sighed and shook her head, but then walked over to her. Even if she was looking for Kass, she could be friendly to others. She asked "Do you think we did good with the hunt yesterday?" She tilted her head a bit as she asked. She got the feeling Serafina liked Kass the same way she did...but that didn't mean anything. They could still be friendly with each other. She glanced to the prey pile, then back to Serafina.

The pretty white marked chocolate one was still sleeping. They yawned a whining yawn, and moved their paws a bit. It was as though they were following something in their dream. Considering they were a hunter, they very well could be.

Mouse stood carefully still as she waited for Arian to explain herself and her motives. So, it would be up to the Alpha to decide Rion's fate? Yes, that certainly made the most sense. Even if Rion gained sudden clarity and begged for the Alpha's forgiveness after the day had passed, Mouse had enough faith in the Fire Alpha to extend his punishments. After all, Mouse had been the Omega for her entire life, and her only crime was being born. Rion had actually spoken out against the ways of the pack... surely Max wouldn't let someone like that, pack member or not, just get away with it for a day?

"Thank you for the more thorough explanation, Lead Warrior." She said as Arian had finished. She found herself asking a new question, one that came from a dark piece of her that rarely got the chance to raise its ugly head. "Then... am I, as a pack member for the day, allowed to treat Rion as what he is, presently. That is to say, like an Omega?" The thought of having some manner of power or status over another wolf was admittedly exhilarating.

Arian dipped her head. She hadn’t an idea why Mouse would wish to when Rion was being punished for having helped her, but perhaps it stemmed from basic curiosity, or the novelty of the fact that now, she had the authority, the RIGHT to. "Indeed," she agreed. In all honesty, sometimes she thought the role of Omega was a fool's role. A role that never should have existed to begin with, it sowed drama and chaos at times. Times like this, but it had been by Max's decree that the role remain when he rose to power, and who was she to question that decision?

"You have the same rights now as any other normal Pack member," Arian promised. She knew that may be difficult for the former Omega to get her head around, after a life spent in the lowest possible rank for no reason she could’ve helped. "I’m not sure how long Alpha will extend the punishment for, but if you so desire to try some proper training, fulfil the role of a Warrior to your best possible ability, I would be happy to teach you a couple things."

Enui had spent a spot of the evening after the ceremony with her father. Max, ever respectful, gave her the time she asked for. Despite being just promoted that day, he seemed to be empathetic to her family matters; she'd made a mental note to thank him for his graciousness the next day.

Thus, when the next day came around, she stepped out of the warriors den and was surprised to see Max striding up to her.
"Good morning, my Alpha." She greeted in turn. Her ears turned down for a moment as he inquired about her father and about her. "I must admit, I-" But then came a call to cut down her words.

Flicking her ears up in a harsh motion - one of clear irritation at having been interrupted, she turned to the source of the sound. Ah, yes, the newly made Lead Hunter, Octavia, the old bat. She let out a sigh of resignation as the dark and silver-furred she-wolf approached, claiming not to be too much of a bother.

Then she knows that her sudden drop in is being bothersome, yet she does it anyway. Enui reflected to herself as Octavia posed the premise of taking a hunting patrol out and Enui couldn't help but interject.
"You're the Lead Hunter now, Octavia. I don't imagine you need to ask permission to send out a regular patrol." Enui hadn't heard of the special hunting patrol that Octavia was assigned to attend, of course. She'd been too worried about her father's well-being to be caught up to date just yet on all that had transpired. She kept her gaze on Octavia, resisting the urge to glance Max's way. She was the Beta now. She didn't need his permission to talk to her pack mates.

Mouse found herself glancing over to where she'd last scented Rion and fixing her gaze on him as Arian assured her that she held power over the now omega.
If anyone is going to be clear to him on how the world works, it's going to be me. I don't care to be pitied for a spot that everyone in this pack adheres to.

She was immediately brought out of her thoughts, however, as Arian mentioned offering her aid.
"You'd teach me to fight?" She asked, surprise and hope in her voice. "Or even, just to defend myself?" She added, wanting to sound less threatening. "I would very much like that, Lead Warrior, so that, if a threat comes to the pack, I, too, may contribute to the well-being of my pack mates, in some meager way."

She hoped she said the right things, this was such a good opportunity! She couldn't pass it up for anything, not even for Rion and teaching him a lesson she had to learn seasons ago.

Arian could hear the surprise in Mouse's voice. In all honesty, there was a piece of her that wondered why she was so willing to teach too. She’d always regretted not being able to do something to help, but hierarchy had to stand. Now that the hierarchy had changed though, she had the chance to help, if Mouse would let her. "I would do my best." Arian had trained young wolves before, but there was a difference training a bright, starry-eyed youngster and an adult worn down by the world. All she could do now was try, right? "Then nobody will be able to tell you you don’t deserve the opportunity."

Canary grabs a rabbit of the prey pile and spots Arian with Mouse and walks over to them, hearing what they where talking about, she growls quietly as Arian saying she would help her learn to fight, she sat down in ear shoot of them and began to eat. Don't get yourself in trouble Arian she thought

He came back from his solo hunt, he puts couple rabbits and some birds, and he grabs his saved squirrel of his hunt and goes to sit nearby
