Myra walked and walked, Kara in her jaws, desperate for food. Then she heard a branch shift on the forest floor. pricking her ears, she crept closer until she saw a herd of deer grazing happily. She dropped Kara under a root and began stalking her prey...

Shadow flicked her ears as she noticed the wolf on the other side of the small clearing. The sun beating on her back through the trees made her silky black fur shiny. Her feathers moved slightly as the breeze hit them. She crept forward, listening when she stepped on a twig. Snap! All the deers heads were looking straight at her as she prepared to unfurl her wings

Myra krept closer and closer, the deer were all looking the other way for some reason... finally she got close to a doe and pounced. it was strong, but Myra was starving. she bit and clawed as hard as she could, but her strength drained and she collapsed to the ground.

Shadow unfurled her large wings and took off into the clearing by the wolf. As the deer began a little stampede all around running in every which way Shadow jumped onto the wolf on the ground and sheilded her and the she with her huge black wings, ducking down and waving her tail, signalling for Zodiac to get the doe.

When all the other deer were emptied from the clearing Shadow looked up at Zodiac. She looked back down to the wolf that was amazingly skinny and whipped her head around as she heard little pawsteps come into the clearing. She saw a tiny fawn colored pup that was skinny and spawned small wings. "Hello." She whispered and crouched down smaller, as to not frighten it.

Avean unfurled her wings on the cliff. She let the wind tickle her black feathers. It was summer after a long winter and it was nice to see the sun. Not that she really cared for the sun, since she was stuck in a cave all her life.
