_Once Rowan and Estelle ((Sorry Fridge; teeny god mod, but...)) were done eating, the King stepped back to the head and made room for the rest of the pack to eat.

((Sorry the hunt ended in so few posts... I was very bored today ))

One the large male was done eating, thane padded up to him. "A-Are you Prince Rowan?"

((I know I was rather vague in the rules, but could you try and write a teeeeeeny bit more, The Wolf?))

_Rowan was startled by the small pup, his full belly making him drowsy. "Yes. I am, little one. Where is your family?" His eyes were a buttery gold, soft and open and welcoming.

Thane sighed, looking down. he hated this part, but the pack had to know who he was, and why he was here. yet, he still hated telling what happened to his parents. "Both are dead, but belong to this pack. I am the son of spies Jacob Riverheart and Ivory Leafpool." The young pup looked up at the older wolf and gave a small smile. Did he know his parents? He would soon find out.

:Tristen Farsight:
The sight of a young pup coming into view startled him, but not as much as how the pup had so quickly come up to King Rowan. Rising to his large paws, he padded forward slowly, stopping a small distance from the kill and King Rowan and the newcomer. His nose quivered at the closeness of the kill but he focused on the scent of the pup. Tired, hungry, lonely. He eyed the pup and said softly, "I knew no Jacob Riverheart, nor Ivory Leafpool." He flicked his ears, glancing at Rowan. "Though I was not in charge of Spies."


:Arianna Bloodheart:
A pup! What was such a young pup be doing by himself? She felt for the pup but stayed where she was, listening closely. She scented the pup but did not recognize it. Perhaps Tristen or Rowan would? She hoped they would still take in the pup if they did not.

_The breath whooshed out of Rowan and he sat down with a thud. "I remember Jacob. He was my tutor in disguise. It was always my favorite. And I also remember when he and Ivory became mates-- I got to bring the herbs to Jacob, and although I didn't know her very well, I'm sure she was kind. I am very saddened to hear that they have passed." Rowan bowed his head for a moment, lost in memory. "Tristen, you should eat," he said. The King redirected his attention to the pup. "How old are you?"

_Donovan watched as the other pup approached and decided to wait. He did not want to overwhelm the wolves, although he was quite efficient at caring for himself. He would hold back until they returned to their camp and then eat what was left of the kill.

Thane couldn't hide how relieve he was to know that the prince had known his parents. This overjoyed him, but also upset him. He had to tell a friend of his parents, they they where dead. Thane shook off the memories of his dying parents and looked back up at Rowan. "I just turned 6 months, and my name is Thane Riverpool."Than said his name proudly. He was proud of his father and mother, and proud to be their son.

(Poor Thane, he doesn't know that Rowan is now King. he had no idea what that howling was all about.)

_"Good. Well, eat up little one. This is a very special meal; the first prey that I lead the hunt of as King," he informed the youngster.

Thane smiled up at him. "king!? i thought you where still prince!" Thane shook his head at himself. Duh, Thane! Thats what all the howling was.

Callista picked up the pace when she scented wolves nearby. Familiar wolves. She kept her ears pricked and could hear them talking faintly. Soon, she neared, and stopped, crouching low in the bushes and watching the wolves. Adair and Adele came up from behind and silently crouched down as well, watching the wolves.

As Callista watched, she felt a shiver of excitement go through her, followed by a wave of nervousness. What if they didn't recognize her, Adair, and Adele? She just shook her head mentally. Of course they would recognize her. She was being silly. She glanced over at Adele, seeing the pup shivering in anticipation, longing to be with the other wolves. Then, she glanced over at her brother, seeing he was calm, but there was a hint of a smile on his face.
