Canary blushes as Jasmin thanked her for helping, "y-you're welcome..." she says feeling the heat on her face, she shook her head calming herself.

She ears twitched hearing Rion and Arian speaking, she started over to them "I think that's a prefect punishment" she huffed going over to the prey pile to get her a quick breakfast.

Jay/F-pack Hunter/Location: Camp, prey pile/Tagging: Oriole

"Yes thank you Ori, and sharing a rabbit sounds good" they say, they looked at all the rabbits there and pick the largest there. "Let's share this one" they say then picking up the rabbit.

Leonidas/F-pack Warrior/Location: Camp/Tagging: Jasmin, Cheshire

He scooped the herbs into his mouth and chews them, "Cheshire?" He says shakily "can you ask Arian if she would assign you a temporary mentor until I feel better" he added looking over to where he heard his trainee talk before, he rubbed his eyes as they have become blurry

Terra/L-pack Healer/Location: Camp/Tagging: Shadow, Apocalypse

Her head turns back as she was addressed, she nodded to them, she says then trotted over out of ear shoot

Phoenix/L-pack Hunter/Location: Camp/Tagging: Hunting party

He smiled and looked back a Cody, his smile disappeared as he thought he should give more details "Toby, there more details I have to share before we go; the deer smelt health and strong, but it's going to be dangerous because if smelt it right it was a buck. Do you think us 8 Hunter's will be enough wolves?" He says flicking his tail

The pretty gray she wolf smiled a bit as she watched him watch the pups. She glanced to them a moment as well. She then shook her head, and turned her attention back to him. He seemed to put his attention back on her at exactly the same time. She nodded as he said the offer was available. "Considering I still have a month until Sorin is a trainee, I probably will need to take you up on that." She fell silent a moment after saying this. She shook her head a couple times. She nodded as he spoke about how he didn't really guard hunting patrols. Not every wolf did so. She heard him clear his throat, and she waited patiently. She then looked to be thinking on his question there. "I...don't honestly know, I like to do both. It honestly depends on how I'm feeling on a specific day," she said to the male. "Sometimes, I want to concentrate and not have others to worry about. Other times, it's better to go with a group since there are dangers out there."

The smaller and slender black-phase pup tilted his head as he looked at the other. He felt a bit...sad, crestfallen, something, when Kaden turned away. He turned his gaze away, anyway. Sorin sighed and shook his head a couple times. He quickly looked over again as Kaden questioned him. "I...Its nice, really nice, but I wonder about my father too...Um...she can be like your mama too. You can cry to my mama when you need to, or cuddle with her, or...talk to me," he said. He had no idea if he was saying the right thing. He could be messing it up, for all he knew. He put his ears back a moment, then longer. He then looked to Lukina and Qaniit a moment, before looking at Kaden again.

The pretty dark she wolf felt another flash of...jealousy, irritation, whatever. She couldn't stop the growl that left her, watching them. She snorted and rolled her eyes, since they weren't paying attention to her now anyway. She then quickly nodded to the other. She said "Ah, yes, we don't want any Fire wolves to get the deer. If there really is one out there," she finished.

She glanced over as Roque approached with the two males. When Roque asked a question, she said "I don't...steal anything. It's nothing," she then quickly said to the trainee. After, she focused on Toby and Phoenix, only listening and silently nodding along for now.

The lighter brown semi fluffy one smiled a small canine smile at Comet. He nodded to the other, saying "Yeah." He then giggled a bit, shaking his head a bit. "Well...only Sorin is her pup, but he and Kaden are really close, it seems. It might be like having another pup," he said. He glanced towards the mother and Qaniit, as well as the pups. He then looked to his sister, Karter, Storm, and Toby, thinking on something. Shaking his head, he decided he'd talk to her later. He then nodded to Comet. "Yeah, looks like I am."


Fire

The darker faced brown male smiled a bit of a canine smile at Archer. The other had nodded to him, so he couldn't help smiling a bit. He then growled a bit at Canary. She wasn't part of this conversation, and no one had asked her opinion, though he didn't say this. He nodded to Blaze, when the other greeted him. "You're fine," he said to the other male. He then dipped his head to Arian a moment. "Yes...do I sleep in the den tonight, then, and wake her up tomorrow to tell her. Or will one of the others inform her today?" He tilted his head as he asked.

The pretty black-phase she wolf looked to her crush. She wanted to argue with Kass a bit. However, the other she wolf was right, plus...that smile did something to her. It made her feel warm inside. She said "Right, um...lets go hunting, but let's eat something first so none of use gets dizzy or anything, because that would be bad."

She glanced to Serafina as the other she wolf spoke again. She nodded to her, saying "Yeah, it seems like it could get stressful. I wouldn't be able to deal with that either," she said in agreement. She then nodded once more, at her. "Well, if we share something, we'd have to find a big rabbit. Otherwise, we could eat three squirrels or birds, but that would be one each. It wouldn't truly be sharing. Should we share a big rabbit, or just do three separate squirrels or something?" she asked.

The pretty white marked chocolate one smiled a canine smile. "You're welcome," she said, able to wait considering it was already nearing winter. She was pretty sure it would be here anytime. They then nodded and said "Okay," as he picked up a rabbit.

indentationHe really was losing his mind wasn't he? He couldn't name the emotions that flashed across his daughter's eyes as he spoke, but it didn't seem like they were good emotions. Lucky me, Kazimir thought with a single historical ha of a laugh. Softness nor kindness had been a trait in him, during his youth. But after falling for his beloved, he'd learned that kindness. After Enui was born, he knew maybe not softness, but gentleness. It had changed him, even further when Arian had appeared, and he figured that his little family was complete. But as he had forgotten his beloved, that seemed to shatter in his mind.
indentationHis eyes having strayed, Kazimir looked up as Enui spoke her mother's name, his mate's name. A shuddering sigh of relief left him as it clicked in his mind. Irina, my beloved Irina. Oh, how could I forget your name? Curse my age-addled mind. He thought, as she mentioned their likeness he gave a watery chuckle, "Yes, she often said that you were my new favorite after you were born. I had to tell her multiple times that I loved all my darling equally. I never did admit to her that my favorite family member wasn't even her or one of my little ones. She's probably cursing out both me and my brother from the grave." He rasped, "She enjoyed walking along the river, she said it was her thinking place because in some places the rapids were so loud that you could barely hear yourself think." He murmured with a grin, as he gleefully absorbed the warmth and love from his beloved daughter. Kazimir blinked away the tears that had gathered while they had reminisced and pulled away with a serious look on his face. "I would appreciate that, darling. I'd hate to forget my babies."
indentationHe cleared his throat, smiled, and chuckled, "You are pretty hard to get rid of, darling. Not that I'd ever want you gone. No father wants to see their babies buried before them." He shook his head, then straightened himself up, trying to at least act like himself once again, even if he didn't feel like himself. "Why don't we head back, celebrate properly for a little bit, th-" His stomach snarled loudly, cutting him off. "Oh, that's what I forgot. My chunk if meat." He pouted for a second realizing that it had probably gotten trampled after he'd dropped it and run off. Good meat wasted, Sky-dogs save me.

The pretty she-wolf padded towards the center of camp before stopping and stretching her long legs as a yawn took over her. The white and orange wolf had just woken up and it seemed a hunting party was forming. Her heterchromatic eyes watched the hunting party for a moment before she padded off looking around for something to do.

Shadow didn’t linger as she often did this time, emerging from her den bright and early. While she struggled on a regular basis, she was also a leader. She couldn’t afford to wallow in her own thoughts too much. Perhaps things will be better once we’ve established proper hierarchy. I’ll take today to think, and then tomorrow, I will name our Leads and Beta. It’s high time. She decided. She had been negligent in it, and for that, she could only ask the father who had placed his faith in her to lead in his place for his forgiveness, and do better from here on out.

Uciel roused himself and headed out of the den, sniffing around the prey pile, restocked. There was now a large deer on it, a welcome surprise for the Pack, he was certain, but it was not his place to partake just yet. That would likely be for the evening meal, once all the chores were done for the day. So instead he chose out a jay, tugging it almost from the very bottom of the pile. Oh well. It may be a little stale, but they’d best not let any prey go to waste. The Healer Trainee stepped away from the pile, glancing around the open area that made up their camp until his gaze settled on a familiar figure.

Uciel wandered over, setting his bird down so that he could speak, a friendly, warm tone. "Good morning, Lucas! How are you doing? We haven’t talked for a bit." Sure, things had been busy, but that was no reason to neglect the few friendships he had formed here, and he regretted that neglect. Well. There was time to remedy that now.

Max approached Enui come the next morning, dipping his head to her. "Good morning. I didn’t get the chance to follow up much with you yesterday. How is everything? I know you worried for Kazimir, is he alright? Are you alright?" Admittedly, Max worried. He’d permitted Octavia to take her group of Hunters of her choice, and leave some here. If the prey situation got worse, she would be right. He didn’t like lowering the Pack's numbers though, and his Beta had been worried the day before, so he figured there were things worth worrying about at the moment.

Catania was up bright and early, rising with the sun. A rarity for the young Huntress, but she was happy to get an early start. The first thing she did was rush off to find one of the wolves in the Pack she truly considered a friend of hers, Tesla. "Hey, how are you? Do you wanna have breakfast with me before we get our days started?" She suggested, tail wagging enthusiastically. It had been a while since they had sat down to actually talk.

Arian headed out of the Warrior den to find Mouse, nodding to her. "If I may, a word? I have some news for you, and while it’s not much, I think it may be something you want to hear," she started, realizing she’d spoken with Rion the day before but had gotten caught up in all the chaos and neglected to pass the news along to Mouse directly. Oh well, the change was active now, and there really was no time like the present, right?

Mouse had made a point to sleep far away from any of the dens the previous night, after her rude awakening last morning. Yet, no matter where she slept, it seemed, trouble would always find her. She had become alert immediately at the sound of approaching pawsteps and while she kept her eyes low, she raised her head in acknowledgement of Arian addressing her.

Why the sudden formalities and manners, Mouse wanted to ask, but knew better than to question a pack member. Thus, she dipped her head towards the ground and replied softly.
"Of course, Lead Warrior. You may always speak to me at your leisure."

"I spoke with Rion yesterday. I won’t go into much detail over what was said and all, but the long story short is, for the next day or two, he'll be switching places with you, if you’ll have it. He has to learn, and words are nothing more than that, nearly meaningless, empty sounds. It’s actions that teach best, and honestly, everyone deserves a break now and then, and you probably haven’t had a day off since you were first set as an Omega," Arian acknowledged.
