season: leafbare / winter
snow lies in massive drifts over the territories. even the warmest areas feel the effects,
from frost killing vulnerable plants, to causing coughs to those who have experience too
much exposure. as prey and herbs have become scarce, there will also be fewer strangers
looking to explore the vast clan territories. queens may have a harder time kitting, so
medicine cats will need to be well-stocked and prepared for the following moons.
general notes:
• i recommend noting if there are any cats that you'd prefer be skipped over in the case of death rolls/injuries

LIGHTWALKERS ▬ ✫ Metagalactic ✫
- request results
• the lightgivers have sent an adult cat to join the lightwalkers.
indent↪ they are a "white shorthair with blue eyes," colored by amethyst14 on Grey_Hoodie's lines. here is their starting geno: LL, Wd-
hunting patrol results
• meteorfall's patrol caught x1 paca.
• gleamingonyx's patrol caught x1 squirrel .
border patrol results
• darktempest's patrol was attacked by a hungry tayra after straying too close to its burrow. half-starved and fighting to protect its home, the tayra attacked with a fury. thankfully, the lightwalkers managed to fight the predator off, but not without sustaining several injuries. basaltspots received several scratches across their flank, which quickly became infected. they will need to be treated with x1 wild garlic, x1 chervil, and x1 moon of rest. whitequartz also took several nasty blows and continued bleeding even after the patrol returned home. they will need to take x1 moon of rest or be treated with x1 cobweb.
herb hunting results
• sunsetstep found x1 alder bark, x1 coltsfoot, and x1 ragwort leaves.
training results
• granite passed and learned land navigation. however, they scratched their pawpad during the training session, and the wound became infected. granite will need to take x1 moon of rest before they'll be back in tip-top shape.
• graupel, venus, and nebula passed and learned their respective skills.
• mercury failed to learn hunting, but can try again next moon.
camp events
• this moon, sunsetstep notices that several cats have began to show signs of illnesses after exerting themselves too much:
indent↪ granite shows signs of a fever after going on a patrol and training sessions. they will need to be treated with x1 borage and take x2 moons of rest in addition to the moon's rest for their infection.
indent↪ nebula complains of an ache after being busy with training and patrols. they will need to be treated with x1 ragwort leaves or take x1 moon of rest.
indent↪ mercury is racked with coughs after a busy moon filled with training sessions and patrols. they will need to be treated with x1 chickweed and x1 moon of rest.
additional mod notes
• as a note, during leafbare, your cats are at an increased risk of becoming sick or injured if they go on multiple actions. if you have any questions about the amount of actions your cats should take before risks of illness increases, check out the "going out on patrol" section on the front page - and feel free to reach out anytime if you have any other questions about that!!

SQUIDCLAN ▬ selkirks
- hunting patrol results
• isopodstar's patrol caught x1 plover and x1 avocet. however, wrenspark scraped his shoulder against a tree branch while trying to catch a bird. the bare branch snagged deep in his fur, slashing the skin and opening a deep wound in his shoulder. he will need to be treated with x1 cobweb and x2 moons of rest.
• ashstorm's patrol caught x1 coral reef snake, x1 tern, and x1 mouse. however, smogprance slipped on a hidden patch of ice while trying to pounce on a mouse. during the fall, her leg twisted at a strange angle, and the oriental let out a loud screech when their leg flared with pain. quickly, the rest of the patrol jumped to action to help smogprance get back to camp, where the healers conclude that smogprounce sprained their leg very badly. she will require x1 poppy seed, x1 stinging nettle, and x2 moons of rest to heal.
border patrol results
• sootblotch's patrol passed uneventfully.
• juniperthroat's patrol passed uneventfully.
herb hunting results
• the healers found x1 bindweed, x1 burnet, and x1 tormentil.
training results
• helleborepaw and honeypaw both passed their training sessions and learned a skill this moon!
mates and families
• doefern is expecting kits. her litter will be due in 2 moons.
