The dark haired one blushed and shook his head. "I didn't really eat dinner either...but I ate a snack," he said to Allen. He then giggled a bit, before shaking his head again. "Maybe our bellies are talking," he said with a small shrug.

Allen chuckled at the others words and nodded, his belly rumbling as if to agree. Gently patting it he looked down, "shhh, I know already" he said, he honestly couldn't remember the last time he ate so he wasn't all that surprised at how impatient his body was being. But it still embarrassed him nonetheless.

The dark haired one took off the hat, holding it in his hands. He giggled a bit, then shook his head a couple times. "Then...we better hurry," he said to the other. He reached to pat Queen a couple times, smiling down at the she dog.

The detective gave a small nod at the others words and continued leading the way. Soon enough they arrived at the door of his first floor apartment. Grabbing his keys and unlocking the door he lead the other inside and closed the door behind him. "What would you like to eat?" he asked, absentmindedly rubbing his belly as he thought about food.

The dark haired one hummed a small sound as they walked. He held the hat, and glanced around a bit, then shook his head. He entered the apartment, and glanced to Allen. When Queen whined and nudged him, he said "Oh, um...nothing with gluten...I have Celiacs."

"Okay, I can make some eggs for you then" said the detective as he reached into the fridge and pulled out the recently bought carton of eggs. Cracking three into a bowl he mixed them up and pulled out a pan, turning on the stove and placing the eggs in the pan to cook.

As Allen flipped the eggs his mind began to wander, worrying about the agency and what his boss and Monticello were going to say. Probably that he was the biggest screw up ever and even possibly fire him. Aggressively shaking his head he turned off the stove and placed the eggs on a plate, handing them to the other along with a fork. Making sure the stove was off he wearily shuffled over to the couch and plopped down, his mind clouded.

He shook his head a couple times, saying "You better eat too." He then went and sat down. He gave the dog an egg, eating the others.

Sitting on the couch Allen was a bit zoned out, his mind continued to wander. He kept returning to the agency, wondering what he was going to tell the others the next day about how his outing went. He was afraid of being honest, but he also knew he couldn't lie either. So he really didn't have much of a choice as much as it will embarrass and shame him. Not hearing the other speak the detectives belly rumbled again, however he was too absorbed in his thoughts to notice.
