i kind of adore this chicken- the lines and colours are beautiful!! super happy to see 3 different chickens too, especially ones that all have different lineart

Y'all should have seen the zebras before Lilian did the shading on them, she absolutely worked wonders on it! The zebras were so fun to make, I wanted to make them look a little bashful so I went with a sort of "itchy" pose. Equine edits make my heart sing <3

There's so many hidden hearts in them that I see stripes when I blink now xD I'm so happy everyone likes them!

I will confess: I'm not particularly a fan of adult zebras normally. But these! THESE!! You and Lilian really knocked it out of the park! The heartbroken one I think is my favorite because I really like the cheek swirl heart detail and the 'runny mascara' effect and the way the stripes fade out down the body, but they all are fantastic!

There's actually one more layer to this guy! He's particularly broken hearted because I modeled his stripes after the Quagga, the extinct sister species to today's zebras <3 that's why his stripes fade out. Thanks for noticing the mascara eyes, I was hoping it would come across that way xD

My first thought when I saw that zebra was "Quagga!!", I absolutely adore the concept/lore behind this design, that's brilliant!

Today's V-Day pets are all so pretty, I also have a soft spot for the croissant rats <3

Absolutely loving the Valentine’s pets, and the bashful zebras have my heart. <3 The way that their shoulder and haunch rise above the rest of the design even makes their pose look heart shaped, I can’t get over how much I love it!

Also I will absolutely die for more of those chicken poses, they look so joyful and full of energy every time they are used.

Edit: I FORGOT TO THANK THE ITEM ARTISTS! I LOVE the background items produced this year to make some neat scenes! The bushes and trees, as well as a dramatic fainting couch, are fantastic!

Also noticed that “couch” isn’t capitalized in the archive. Just a small heads-up!

I have to confess, I've gotten a few trades for my spare emo/heartbroken quagga but I don't have the heart (aha pun) to trade her away!
I literally think this val's day pets gave me the push to start collecting all the zeebs!

The V-Day pets are extra awesome this year! From the cool Zebras, to the cute croissant rats, to the anniversary chicken lines, I am really glad those where brought back again!

Hahaha I completely forgot to adopt the Valentine's stuff last night and ended up with every pet outcome in my adoptions anyway! Late adoption didn't bite me on the butt! XD

I love the valentine day pets! Especially the lion and zebras!

Though i hate that people want/offer ridiculous overpay for the lion… makes it impossible to get

im so in love with this dog.. and i think its because the shading
with the contrast of the eyes is what makes it my favourite for me,
im so glad i managed to get 3 of it ahaha

also i cant believe i managed to get 2 lions just by swapping normally,
thank you to the kind users who helped my friend and i get one each 😭
