What is up with the demand on the new lion? I just saw someone offer a STORE PET for it

THE WATTLES! I've been trying to figure out why they seemed slightly different for two hours now, haha. I never noticed they didn't have them before ^^;

I originally made those chickens just for april fools. They weren't meant to become real pets, so I pretty much winged it(pun not intended) and the lines ended up a bit rough around the edges. I stuck to a very old style of drawing chickens from my childhood, waaaay back when I somehow assumed only males had wattles.

Over time these things started bothering me SO much, though. The poor chickens deserved better XD.

Adopt virtual pets at Chicken Smoothie! rarer than the other outcomes or is it just very, very popular? I got multiple of them from the gift letter, but some have offered me a lot for them and it made me double check so I don't mess up on accident because I'm still pretty new.

I doubt it’s actually much rarer, but lions always have much higher demand then other pets.

It's a mix of it being a more uncommon outcome (though we won't know exactly how much more uncommon it is for a while, and chances are it's just an uncommon pet, not rare) and the fact that the lion lines are always popular. When these types of pets (more uncommon, popular ones) come out, there's always a sudden dramatic influx in demand, but that usually calms down when the rarities get released.

My wife nor I got one, but I was able to trade for one. She's still looking though

So far only 1 of my otters have started growing lmao.

The only other 2 that have changed are PPS.
