Hehe, nah they are based on tarot cards, I did a draw for myself on the day that I made them, they're definitely interpretive but of the ones that have come out so far the draws were

Is this one the Ace of Swords? Or is it the Two of Swords cuz I can see another hilt on the other leg.

I didn't add the figure in it mostly because I wanted to highlight the environment of the original card

I got a pair naturally and I feel lucky as they are supposed to come in a pair.

I didn't know that but I looked into it and I wish they would've added the female of the pair. This one is the male as it's holding the ball and not the cub. But cool either way!

I love the rabbits, and I love that the year's element was included in two of the designs as well!
I'm also a little curious as to why this is the first year there's been only one batch of Lunar New Years adopts? All the previous years had a few on different species lines.

The CNY adopts are so cute! I was making a group for them and realized that the first year CS celebrated CNY was the 2011 Year of the Rabbit. Can't believe it's been so long!

I think it’s just by coincidence there’s no other species lines this round. Personally for me pet designs are not my forte so I kept to just the bunny lineart :0
