Plot:
SPACE SPACE SPACEThe human kingdom of Dasfodel is a prosperous kingdom. This kingdom is ruled by King Echomer. The capital is well taken care of. The people are happy and healthy. But on the outskirts, the people are unhappy. They are starving and in need of better shelter and good clothing, as well as decent food. King Echomer turns a blind eye to their suffering, not caring what the people on the outskirts are needing. Most of them are outcasts and creatures of another race, or non-human. King Echomer doesn't care for other races, believing the humans are above all else.But when tragedy strikes the capital Echomer is forced to look to the other races for help.

SPACE SPACE SPACEOn the third day of the fifth month tragedy struck the palace. At midnight an assassin entered the castle, dispatching the queen and the king's two sons, the only heirs to his throne. There was chaos in the capital, nobody had known who did it, no one had any information. Echomer had called in all his advisors and members of his council, calling in all wise people of his country, but none of them knew or could find out anything. Echomer was devastated.

SPACE SPACE SPACEKing Echomer had his advisors round him up the names of all the best warriors and trackers, magic users and spell casters in the nearby lands, in order to help him find out who had killed his family. He decided to offer a large sum of money for their services. Who will come? Who will answer King Echomer's call for help?

- All Tess rules apply! No excessive violence, gore, sexual themes, abuse, or anything like that. (Fade to black is okay)
- You may only have ONE Character, you may play NPC characters if I give you permission.
- Please keep all OOC talk in the discussion thread which is linked here and the first post.
- Please have at least 5 sentences per post! Once or twice under is okay, but if I see you doing this often you will be asked to leave or add more.
- No god modding, do not make your characters super OP, I will be looking at them before I accept so keep this in mind when creating. Every character should have weaknesses. Do not kill other players characters without permission from THEM AND ME.
- Be respectful to everyone, do not harass other players or me, If you have Ideas please PM me with them and do not post as I want most of the events to be a surprise.
- LGBTQ+ is accepted, as well as romance, but you do not have to! Do not bully/harass people for being LGBTQ+. Please be respectful of character identities.
- Hate the character NOT the Player, DO NOT harass/bully someone because you don't like their character. Not cool man.

Blaster: AoE Damage effects from shooting magic.
Controller: Control movement on the battlefield. Wall of Fire and other effects which control movement on the battlefield, as well as effects which force movement, such as the Warlock’s Repelling Blast. To some extent, short-range teleportation may also qualify. Status effects and hindrances which affect large groups, such as by creating difficult terrain. Some overlap with Debuff Support.
Defender - Threat: Stands between the biggest monsters and the squishy people. Either by dealing a ton of damage or using a mechanic to force enemies to attack them like Compelled Duel, Threat Defenders force enemies to engage them instead of the defender’s allies.
Defender - Area Control: Stands between the biggest monsters and the squishy people. Defends their allies by preventing or deterring enemies from moving past them.
Face: Deception, Persuasion, Intimidation, and sometimes Insight.
Healer: Healing and restorative magic.
Librarian: All of the knowledge skills: Arcana, Nature, Religion. The think first one.
Scout: Stealth, scouting, and trap-finding. Sneak in, look at stuff, maybe take some stuff. Find and disarm traps.
Striker - Damage: Single-target damage or disable. Throw a pile of damage on things.
Striker - Disable: Single-target damage or disable. Save or suck. Many spellcasters are excellent disable strikers.
Support - Buff: Party buffs. Don't forget the +1.
Support - Debuff: Party debuffs. Blind things, give them penalties, or otherwise make them easy to defeat.
Utility Caster: Divination, teleportation, and other non-combat problem solving, typically via magical means.

Magic Limits:
To stop OP use of healing or damage magic:

You may only use the same spell again after waiting ONE turn that you DIDN'T cat that spell. (Example: User Casts a fire spell at enemy. Use a different spell this turn. The user is now able to cast the fire spell again on this turn.)

You may only use a healing spell ONCE EVERY THREE TURNS. (Example; User heals themselves, Wait this turn, Wait this turn, User is now able to heal again.)

HP Information:
All creatures we come up against will have a health of 50 HP unless stated otherwise in the DM post. All party members will start the RP with 100 (Full) HP. Some basic creatures will have armor which lowers your attack damage by 6 damage points.

Creatures, if intelligent enough, will be able to make a saving throw and either dodge or block your attack, so beware of that. Creatures are also able to heal themselves and others, if intelligent enough.

Rolling Information:
Rolling will be done with a random number generator.

1-8 Generator will be used for Healing the party, the number you role is the amount of people you will be able to heal at once. Counting yourself.

1-8 Generator will also be used in healing yourself or ONE other person. 1-4 is Weak Heal and 5-8 is Strong Heal.
(Weak Heal is +30 HP) (Strong Heal is +70 HP)

1-30 Generator will be used for Damaging magic level 1-10
1-50 Generator will be used for Damaging magic level 11+

1-20 Generator will be used for Non-damage magic. 1-10 is Weak and 11-20 is Strong.

1-20 Generator will also be used for Stealth attacks or stealth requests. If you are Proficient in stealth you need to get a 7 or higher to complete the move or attack. If you are not proficient you need to roll a 15 or higher.

1-8 Generator will also be used for creature Defense or Blockage of your attack. 1-5 your attack lands and they take full damage, a 6 and the creature dodges but takes half damage, a 7 and the creature dodges your attack, a 8 and the creature Blocks your attack

1-6 Generator will be used for Creatures healing themselves. 1-5 Failed attempt, 6 is +20 HP

It is early spring so still slightly chilly temperatures. Maybe some snow is still in some places. Each character has about a 2-3 day journey to the Inn. (On horseback if they so choose, or flight. 3-4 Day journey if walking.)
