I have PDA too! I dont see it talked about much.
i follow an account on instagram called AtPeaceParents that does a lot of education about PDA.
i especially love that they talk about it as the Autism specific nervous system disability that it is, not a disorder of non-compliance

if i'm not careful i will literally eat my same favorite foods every single day. for example if i lived alone i would probably eat chipotle and legit nothing else for each meal. like i'd be totally happy just sustaining myself on chipotle bowls HA

luckily though i am a total foodie and i do enjoy trying new things

are we allowed to discuss/post here if we are suspected to have autism? or would it be more appropriate/preferred if we were officially diagnosed? im unable to go out and seek a diagnosis currently, but myself, my bf and family believe i most likely am on the spectrum
take it easy, you deserve it.

I'm not sure why I was surprised to find a board for autistics here, but that's such a relief! It's nice to know that there are people here who are like me. I am not officially diagnosed, but I know I am autistic. I come from an entirely autistic household who have been diagnosed (mother is autistic, it passed down to my brothers and I) and I have done extensive research on the topic^^ I'm also diagnosed ADHD.

Anyway- I'm Bea. I study psychology in college. I am currently very very hyperfixated on this game. I cant hardly keep myself off it lmao
But even more so, my special interest is Undertale AUs. It has been the center of my attention for over 5 years now. It's crazy how much a special interest affects your life sometimes! But I also like My Little Pony (and its associated creepypastas), the newest Ninja Turtles series, The Umbrella Academy, FNAF, Coraline, etc. I'm a big fan of horror genres. I love to write, bake, cook, and roleplay (been rping for 11 years). I literally have so many OCs! So, so many XD they're probably all nuerodivergent, because- idk how to write neurotypical people LMAO

Anyways, it's nice to see a place for us!

I hope it's okay that I'm posting here several weeks after the last post - however, this is the first time I've actually seen this thread.

I too come from an ASD household with myself and others on the spectrum. I also have several co-morbid conditions including diagnosed EDS, cPTSD, POTS, ADHD and so on and so forth. Although I'm not diagnosed with AFRID it is suspected and I actually have a GI appointment this week about it.

It's nice to know others on the site have similar experiences, I'm not sure why - but it helps with anxiety. Collecting, hoarding and organizing pets is definitely a hyper fixation of mine - with pet sites being one of my main special interests. I'm well into adulthood now and I've been playing such games since I was in middle school.

I still haven't quite mastered making any friends on the site but maybe this will help!
I hope this finds you all well in the New Year.
