Featherheart woke, her eyes shining in happiness. "Flowerheart!" she meowed excitedly, but soft enough not to wake her kits.

"Thornheart came to me again in a dream! We chose the names for our kits," she meowed, tail tip twitching in ecstasy. "The little gray tabby, the one that looks like me, we'll name her Heatherkit. The light brown one with those brilliant eyes will be named Leafkit." She licked the tops of their heads. "This little guy, he looks just like Thornheart," she murmured. "He'll be Reedkit. And the dark one will be named Mosskit." She looked anxiously at the latter. "He still dosn't look good, even after he's eaten and slept," she meowed.
