there's like a little 3D printed cypher model my brother made for me. cypher is my favorite character of all time and he just chills on my desk while i'm working. the fact that my brother made it for me just makes me feel a little more appreciated since my household is equivalent to a dumpster fire.

^ you fo sho should do that! i feel similarly towards fortnite; whenever i used to play it i'd run into really toxic kids or the mechanics were just too janky for me to master. but i feel that it has improved and it's well developed. i don't think i can ever bring myself back to play it, but i certainly won't judge people who do. i hope you have fun, go get that victory royale!

tbh. my parents collect funko pops and they have a huge wall of them. when im alone in the house i feel like i have many small eyes on me lol

certain shows from my childhood. i use media to bond with others, then when our connection gets severed, whether the relationship was platonic or romantic, i develop an aversion to things we discussed. there are literally simple words i avoid because they remind me of people i used to know. this is all something i should reeeally get over if i want a better quality of life

^ bro!! do you own the blog linked in your sig? is that your art? if so, it's amazing! reminds me of when i, not too long ago, stumbled upon a blog specializing in drawing thomas the train characters as humans. it was wild at first but i came to admire it tbh. they really delved into the characters' friendship dynamics and fleshed them out---literally and figuratively

i mean if graphic tee and shorts count. i cant really afford to dress nice right now so i really just wear my favorite shirts and cycle through my 3 pairs of shorts and pants

* brruum brruum! hmm i've answered the ship dynamic one before, so general character dynamic...i really like the whole trope where there's like, a monster out in the woods or something and a child comes across them and they find comfort in this monster...i don't really know how to explain it but that dynamic makes me so happy it's so sweet...

I bought myself a new book today! I just about had enough money on my giftcard so that was rather nice too. It's a historical book but it's written in a much more informal way - it's told with a dialogue between two people at a café, which I thought was really interesting. While I do wish there were some moments the author went into more detail with (it's also quite short), it's quite a relaxing read. It's also got some cute little illustrations here and there, which are very charming.
^ Oh I love buying secondhand goods! Always feels great when you snag something for a good price. I am quite a big fan of argyle patterns so they sound very interesting.

currently hanging out in a small streamer's chat because he streams an obscure series i'm into & and i'm really just vibing with that right now tbh. i love small streamers because you actually get one on one interactions and such and it feels nice to make someone sharing cool content with you laugh. we just finished making an acting cast for the characters of the first game in the series he mainly streams lol. anyway sometimes i feel very isolated so part of my self-care is doing something social even when i kinda don't feel like it
