─── Dappleleaf was out gathering herbs she was low on, which was many of them. She had not had help since her mentor passed some moons ago and was hoping she would get one soon to help do these kinds of tedious tasks. She had never realized how difficult it was to be alone. She needed to prep and combine a few things as well as clean out her herb pile and confirm everything was okay and not moldy. Things had just been so busy, having to do everything by herself was difficult for sure, and just plain exhausting. She prayed to Starclan nightly for an apprentice to come along. So far, none of the kits had shown interest to her knowledge. "Oh, Dappleleaf stop fretting!" The shecat spoke aloud, scolding herself.

With a heavy sigh, she continued about her business gathering up specifically some cobwebs, poppyseeds, and marigold. These three she was forsure extremely low on. Dappleleaf could hear her mentor, Rainflower, scolding her for allowing the stores get so low. She wondered if maybe she could ask for some of the current apprentices to help her along with the gathering.

After piling what she had onto a large leaf, she drug it back to camp. Thankfully her mentor was very clever and had many tricks up his paws for gathering in large amounts. Thankfully, she found one of their worn patrol paths and easily drug the leaf all the way back to the entrance. A few warriors saw her struggle towards the end and came to help at the last moment. "OH thank Starclan, I am exhausted now!" They chuckled and helped get the leaf back to her den where she could go to work organizing and cleaning.

─── Heavy pawsteps left by large paws crunched along the dead undergrowth littering the forest floor, the only sound save for the waking chatter of birds and squirrels. The sun had just begun to crest the horizon and it would time for him to return to camp with the rest of his party. Maplestrike had gone out with the dawn patrol and they had managed to catch a good number of prey to restock the clan's food supply. The breeze stirred the giant feline's long coppery fur and often reminded him of how thankful he was for his long coat when the colder moons came. Albeit it usually caused him more grief when the temperatures were hot than anything else and Maplestrike could often be found lounging in water during these times.

─── "We should start heading back, the rest of the clan'll be waking already and we've got fresh prey to deliver" the burly tom meowed to the rest of the patrol, gesturing with a tip of his head towards the path back home. Turning once everyone had gathered what they'd caught in their jaws, Maplestrike led the three other cats along the trodden path back into camp to deposit the prey.

As the morning sun was slowly creeping into the sky, the young Weaselkit rises accompanied by a small yawn and stretch. Last night's sleep hadn't been the best as his littermates had insisted on telling a slightly scary story they had previously heard from the elders. He was feeling slightly annoyed, he had never been the adventurous type, in fact, he was more than happy to stay in camp forever and wasn't really looking forward to becoming an apprentice.

"Come on sleepyhead" purred his mom followed by a loving lick on Weaselkit's cheek "Your siblings, have already gone out to play. Why don't you go with them?" asked his mother.

If Weaselkit could, he would gladly stay by his mother's side forever, but he already knew that she would insist more, so with a little sigh he crept from his mother's verge and unhurriedly walked under the viny entrance and into the camp where he could see that as his mother had told him, his siblings were already playing outside.

Their pelt should describe them as a "soft, longhaired ginger ticked lynx point" as well (since gingers are always tabby! barless ticked tabbies show the least amount of markings)

Unfortunately, the last Prophecy Kit was reserved privately earlier today and I hadn't had a chance to update the thread yet!

You're welcome to re-submit the same kit unrelated to Silver, Moon, Grouse, Rush, and Owl- he could be an adoptive sibling, or my Mistyleaf would also be happy to have him either as her adopted kit or as her own by blood!
Otherwise if you'd like to submit a different character you're welcome to.

My only other note is that if it's alright for me to ask, I'd prefer the following format to keep things easy to read for everyone, particularly in this case using quotations for dialogue per:
