Book cataloguer. Just sitting in a dusty basement sorting books. I did actually find a job listing for something like that once, but it was barely minimum wage and it required a degree + knowledge of various languages. Yeah...
^ I didn't realise you were talking about American states, and was a bit confused about what a "birth state" was... like newborn.

• it's not done yet, but i'm currently writing myself a resume. idk, i guess it's not a Big Accomplishment or anything, as most people have to have one at some point in their lives. still, the last time i tried to write it i had a Breakdown, so i feel proud of myself for trying again

So for the longest time I resisted reading ACOTAR. It's so hyped on social media and I finally caved - the first book was hilariously bad. Some of the writing made me genuinely laugh because it was so redundant and just... poor authorship. But because I read the whole book, I was like why not just keep reading because of the cliffhanger... Okay, so I just finished the second book while on vacation. It started off slow but at least better than the first. The main character, Feyre, just irked me so much because of her helplessness and dependency on all the stereotypical hunky men. GIRL STAND UP. She could do nothing for herself, she had an "uhhhh, what?" tendency to all her dialogue.. but sequel Feyre was bearable. She took initiative, she felt like her own character instead of a counterpart to a man. Of course, the plot strongly revolves the romance, but yk. She didn't annoy me as much. Anyway, all that to say, I hated this series and I'm still not convinced.. and on my way to buy the third book LMAO
