The gathering has started and the Clans have quickly fallen into their usual groups, sometimes drifting away to interact with new cats. As the Clans started to settle down and get ready for the leader announcements, a group of strange cats prowled into the dimly lit clearing. The Clans were startled and awed by the beautiful and handsome cats that surveyed them all closely. The strangers caught wind of the large gathering and have decided to make their way into the crowd to mingle. They don't seem interested in much more than a fling, with quite a few of the strangers having already disappeared into the night when the conversations shared became too serious.

At every gathering, there will be a group of studs (male and female) for Clans to breed their cats with!

★ Each stud will have a maximum of 3 slots and each slot will be fcfs. All studs will have the same post amount requirements. A first slot will be 3 posts and a second slot will be 9 posts. A second slot can't be claimed until the Wednesday following the start of the gathering. On the last day of the gathering, a third slot will open and you will need to have 12 posts to claim it.

★ To enter for a slot, you will need to fill out the form included with each cat.

★ As usual, you will need to post in your next post that your cat is trying for kits with one of the studs. The queens will give birth in the normal amount of time. For Clans that stud with a female stud, you will receive the kittens three posts after you put in your post that your tom tried for kits with her. You will need to have a queen in your Clan to take care of the kits from a female stud.

★ If you want to breed a same-sex couple with one of the studs, you will need to state which cat in the couple will be bred.

★ Each artist will be bringing only one stud to the gathering. All studs will be posted on the first day of the gathering and no later.

★ NONE of the studs will be going to a Clan. After the gathering, they will be "retired" and may be used again at a later gathering.

★ Each stud will have their own individual form.

★ Each post must contain new content with a minimum of 150 words. You must interact with other players, not yourself, for it to count.

a vibrantly colored molly makes her way into the crowded gathering space, immediately catching the attention of the clan cats due to the neon colors scattered across her pelt. she has a wide smile on her face as her eyes scan the clearing, taking in as much as she can of her environment. she looks over as you approach her, turning that brilliant smile on you. "hello there! i'm strenua; my two-leg named me after the roman goddess of the new year, as he's a bit of a history nerd and we both love celebrating the holiday!" sitting down to make herself comfortable, her head tilted to the side slightly as she watched the way you looked at her. "the firework pattern is cool, isn't it? my two-leg is really good at science, and said i was the first cat to have this gene!" the chocolate molly smiled brilliantly as she stood and spun around, show-casing her radiating colors before sitting down again. she notices you staring at her face curiously and reaches a paw up, lightly tapping on the markings on her eyes then showing her paw to you. "this is just face paint! it'll fade eventually; my two-leg's mate is very artistic and always likes to paint different designs on my face. i love all the bright colors of the rainbow."

the firework gene is a dominant gene that creates firework-like-patterns across a cat's pelt. these firework patterns can be in any color, although primarily they are bright/neon colors such as hot pink or lime green. strenua carries the gene as FwFw, meaning her kits will all be Fwfw and each of them will show the firework gene somewhere on their pelts. the firework gene can appear practically anywhere on a cats body (torso, legs, tail), EXCEPT for their head/face; for some reason, it just doesn't settle there.

There's an extremely stern-looking molly who prowls out of the bushes, following your clan. She's very quiet, refusing to make small talk or make big of herself unless spoken to first. It's subtle but clear that it's not so much shyness as an overwhelming sense of her own moral superiority.
xxxx"Disgusting clan cats, taking over every other cat's territory, stealing our land, ignoring their true moral responsibilities to the Whispering Ones." She says, louder than the average cat speaks.

xxxxYou get the impression she's only following after you in order to guilt trip your clan's representatives. You might be wrong. But you have strong intuition about it.

xxxxIncreasingly, her mumbling grows to be about pettier and pettier things (apparently kits playing with feathers is "decadence beyond reason" and apprentices getting days off is "proof of the depravity of these land-stealing clan cats" and any sort of decoration of the dens is "heresy against the Great Silence").
xxxxCertainly her spiritual beliefs are... odd, from what can be gathered. Seemingly everything fun or pleasurable is an "abomination".
xxxxMaybe she'll stop bothering your clan's representatives if you try bonding with her over the obvious rules the rest of your clan refuses to acknowledge? There must be something that'll calm her down enough that she'll stop bugging you all.

How did your cat help someone else? Seeing how Fawneyes struggled to adjust to clan-life and especially with hunting(how does her fur manage to catch on every little thing!?), Ivyshell decides to take the younger she-cat under her wing. She helps Fawneyes with her hunting, teaching her how to step lightly and hold herself in just the right way as to avoid getting as much debris in her fur as possible. Fawneyes was especially relieved to hear Ivyshell advise her that her chocolate brown fur helped her to blend in wjth their environment, pointing out that coats like Sagestar’s pale coat contrasted, making it harder to hunt while Fawneyes might have an easier time of it. Inevitably, Fawneyes still manages to get bits of leaves and dirt in her fur but Ivyshell helps her groom out her fur.
