I hugged my books close to my chest. They were all I had left of my sea life. A man wearing a big brown suit came up to me. "Hello," He said. "You must be Elizabeth."
I nodded. "Yes.. Eliza, most people call me." He ignored me, obviously, and took me the other way.
"Now, Eliza, I believe you came from far beyond the seas? Is that correct?" He asked. I nod. "Yes. " I say, moving my hair from out of my face as he peers at my outfit. I try to cover it the best I can, but he tells me to follow him to my new classroom. So I do as Im told and follow him.

Mrs. Martindale peers over at me. "Class," She says. "This is Elizabeth. She came from all the way far beyond the SEAS!" Everyone whooped and cheered, as a boy came up to me and smirked. "New girl, eh?" He said, with a canadian accent. I nod. "Yes.. but I do have a name.." He flicks his phone up and takes a picture. I squirm to regain my non-bright sight.

Mrs. Martindale snatches his phone away and slams it into the drawer of her desk. "Mr. Tarnai, if you keep bringing your phone to school I WILL Take it away for the week and call your parents." Everyone OOHed like he was in biiigggg trouble, but all he did was shrug and walk away. "Now, Class, say hi to Elizabeth."

Everyone shouted, "Hi Elizabeth!!" Then came up to greet me. Friendly classroom! I thought. The boy sat in his desk, didnt come up, and for that matter, didnt say anything. It snapped to me. He was a.. bad boy. Only did what he wanted... didnt follow anyone's rules except his own.
My father told me to stay away from them, but weirdly, when I looked into his eyes...
...The redness gave me a thrill ride...

The Owl and the Girl
Once there was a little girl wandering through the forest.A happy child. Didn't get in trouble,had loving parents. One day while in the forest she stumbled upon an injured baby owl. She took the owl home and cared for it. She saved it and loved it. The owl loved her to. She let the owl go when it was older but it stayed in a tree in the little girl's yard,it wasn't ready to leave its friend. One night though a terrible house fire broke out in the little girl's house,the parents had ran out alerting the fireman about their little girl inside. The owl flew into a the little girl's window searching for it's friend in dismay. Till finally the owl found her coughing and trying to escape. The owl begin to lead the girl pulling on her with it's talons,willing her to go on. The owl got her out of the house and saved her. That day an unbreakable bond formed between the owl and the girl. As the owl had been saved by the girl,and the girl had saved the owl. They could feel what happened to one another,know what the other thought. They lived happily,the connection had separated them from other people and had separated the owl from other owls. The girl's parents loved seeing their child so happy as she explored with the owl. Of course nobody would have guessed what happened next....

Suddenly a gun shot sounded,and the little girl looked in horror toward her dearest owl. The owl's blood was spreading across it's feathers as it fell to the ground. The girl clutched her chest blood beginning to spread across her shirt. After all the two had a connection like no other,a very strong bond. The hunter had come quickly,the bullet had only been a stray bullet,he had quickly called an ambulance. People had quickly gathered at the news,the doctors treating the girl and the owl there on the girl's wishes,she didn't want to leave the forest. It didn't look good though. If only somebody would do what the girl and owl had done for eachother, but nobody stepped up...It didn't have to be a person,it just had to be living...

Finally as both the owl and girl begin to lose blood quickly an odd thing happened. A tree,one they passed every day almost seemed to look at them. Two roots came up from the ground and the doctors scrambled away. One root touched the owl, and one root touched the girl. Leaves begin to fall of the tree and people stared as the blood and wound disappeared from the bodies of the owl and girl. The tree however was dying giving its last life to the owl and the girl. A small child rushed forward and hugged the tree,trying to save it. As the tree's leaves begin to turn green, the same bond,connection was made between the child and the tree that the owl and girl had. People stared in amazement,of course they would never have the connection the child and the tree had, and wouldn't even get close to the connection the girl and the owl had.Now every day the child,the girl and the owl sit under the tree and laugh and smile. Happier then half the people in the town,probably all of them.

"Yes, my lady. You do know..my price I'm aware?" He slid around her body, and traced his hand along her cheek. She just nodded slowly. She did not want to pay his fare, but her family needed his assistance so.
"I'm a trickster, you know. And I know all of them. So don't try any with me." She held out her wrists, ready for him to take his payment.
"Tsk tsk tsk, dear Caroline." he waved his finger disapprovingly.
"But my sir..I have such little..left.." His eyes darkened.
"You're the one that made the deal..you're the one that accepts the price.." She gaped.
"You are..not human, if you believe that.." He just laughed.
"Call me what you like. Insult me, beat me. Do what you like, just know it all ends up in you paying somehow." He let his eyes wander across her body before he was disgusted. Humans.
"Your neck is required for..this payment." He held his hand to her. She trembled but took his hand. Nothing more she could do.
"That's it, sweet lady." he pulled her close and took what he believed he deserved.

Brielle was never the one to fall for someone, but Zach just had a charm. Like the charm where you want to spend the rest of your life with them. One day Zach and Brielle had a huge fight, they swore never to talk to each other ever again.
Brielle found someone else, she fell madly in love with him, but they began to drift apart, as Brielle had thought.

Brielle flicked her silken tail angrily, the stars that'd she'd woven through the long hair knotted together with each flick of her tail.
"Brielle! Brielle!" one of the pack puppies called, Bree[as she'd been calling herself.], turned around, her floppy ears pinned down. "What do you want, Smoke?" she said, her eyes narrowed. 
"Uh... Someone is here to see you Brielle." Smoke said, his green eyes wide.
Brielle trotted quickly to the egde of the pack's territory, the sun had set, causing Brielle to trip over a stick. She growled under her breath, she'd been upset since her mate after Zach left her.
Bree saw a figure in the dark, she could barely see it, but she recognized the smell under other smells.
"Whoever you are, follow me." Brielle said softly, leading the new wolf down into the center of the pack, where the pack had lit a fire.
She sat down on the grass and gazed at the wolf. She was startled when she saw it was Zach.

"Zach?" Brielle said, her gaze looking over the scrawny wolf, his pelt was matted with burs and dirt, he was skinny, but a single red rose was held under his paws.
"Yes?" he said in a small voice, his ears tucked back shyly. "It's been a while since I've seen you..." Brielle said, getting up and walking closer to Zach.
"It's been a while since I've seen you, my Brielle." Zach said, perking his ears a bit. "Why the rose?" Brielle asked softly, gazing at the flower.
"The rose I showed you when we met. I said I would stop loving you when it died. I've kept it alive all these years. I've sacrificed so much to come and see you, Brielle." he said, on the verge of tears, he had always loved her more than the sky itself.
"Oh..." she replied, then curled her tail over Zach's back, leading him to a den that was slightly illuminated by the fire light. It was lined with feathers and grasses, it looked like a perfect place to sleep, to Zach.
"Rest here." Brielle commanded, shuffling a few feathers from the side of the den.
Zach lay down, it was obvious she still cared about him. 
"Thanks, so much." he said softly, as Brielle lay a few feet from him. "Any time." she said with a smile in her voice, she rolled over and saw Zach already asleep, the flower under his paws. Brielle smiled and closed her eyes.

The birds chirping awoke the she-wolf, she got up and stretched, then poked Zach with her paw, he looked at her curiously, with a sleepy expression on his face.
Brielle ran out of the den, followed by Zach. She barked, causing all the wolves to glance at her.
"This is Zach, he's staying with us for a while." she said as she walked gracefully through the territory. Zach smiled thoughtfully, watching Brielle walk through the territory, following her, but hanging behind her a bit.
"Follow me!" Brielle said playfully, running through a field, followed by Zach, it was riddled with small blue flowers.
They came across a lake, Zach cocked an eyebrow, then nudged Brielle in the water, jumping in after her.
"Zach!" she yelled playfully, splashing him in the face.
"Hey! No fair!" he said, swimming to the deep part of the lake, Brielle followed closely behind.
Brielle swam towards the shore, she shook dry when they got on dry land.
"Brielle, I still love you." Zach said shyly. "And I still love you too. I'm sorry for everything. I'm so sorry." she said, the playful atmosphere fading.
"No, it was my fault, forgive me?" Zach said with a hopeful smile. 
"I forgive you." she replied with a smile, then she shoved Zach into the water, they continued to play sweetly until about sunset.

Don't give up love, because you've already met the one you're supposed to spend life with <3

The Noose - A Perfect Circle

Spoiled rich boy. Self-absorbed, self-proclaimed artist, always wearing that ridiculous beret as if it were the gift he was blessed to wear for being so 'talented' in his chosen field. But not today. Today his long hair was tied back in a simple ponytail, and his stylish clothing replaced with a garish orange prison jumpsuit. His only accessories were the wrist and ankle shackles he wore.

All eyes of the room were on the tall, thin young man on trial as the video played for the jury. That perfectly-formed face was pale with realization as he watched the familiar scene unfold.

He and the young man now taking the stand against him had shot it themselves. The archival footage of Eric's last 'masterpiece'.

'Recall the deeds as if they're all someone else's atrocious stories.'

The young victim, Scott, had answered an online ad for a photography model. Jeremy had performed the killing, as he always did in his friend's schemes, and also shot the video. The filming began as he two friends met Scott, and continued through the murderous act and into the gritty horror of Eric working his magic.

Gorgeous, vivid red splattered the large blank canvas as Eric's fingers pulled the thick medium into gentle slopes and curving shapes. Jeremy's voice could be heard, shaking softly, on the tape. "What kind of painting are you going to make this time?"

Eric never hesitated as he continued to lay down the basic shapes of his art with his blood-red fingers, switching to a thin paintbrush as he began working in the details. "To continue with my usual themes..." He leaned back to allow Jeremy a good shot of his work in progress. "This one will be 'the hanging man'."

As the Prosecutor shut off the video, Jeremy's eyes focused on his friend's watering golden brown ones. He had agreed to testify against Eric to avoid the death penalty, but now he wasn't so sure he had made the right choice. Maybe they should both be put to death.

The small boy tapped at the play drums, a grin spreading across his small face. His chubby hands were wrapped around the red, plastic sticks, hitting it against the instrument. It made a strange tat-tat-tat noise to show it wasn't real. As if the elephant's drawn onto the sides weren't enough.

As he played, an even tinier girl walked across the dotted rug. Her finger's rubbed against her dress' material nervously. She chewed on her chapped lip, looking at her black shoes nervously. No matter how old she got, she was nervous anywhere. Even in Kindergarten. But the player seemed nice enough, so she sat down in front of the toy, legs crossed as the teacher said was appropriate.

The black haired boy looked up, and saw a brunette girl watching him curiousily, green eye's sparkling lightly. Grinning, the boy hit the drums one last time before throwing one of the sticks in the air, like he'd seen the band on T.V. do. But, distracted by the girl's staring, missed the catch. Instead, it hit him on the head.

The girl burst into laughter as the boy started whimpering. But she got up and walked over to him. He looked up, eye's watering from pain. She stuck her hand out. "I'm Shayla, and I'm new here. That was cool. Until you hurt yourself.

The boy took her hand, the other rubbing his head. "Jace. I know, it hurts!"

Shayla giggled, putting two fingers to the spot that was now swelling. "I'll get the teacher."

Little did I know this would turn into a beautiful friendship.

I love your beautiful violet eyes,  I love your personality, I love your stories, I love the way you can look at the stars for hours with me, singing songs, and being happy. 
I don't think it is possible to express how much I miss you, and I really want to see you... Estrella, I am trying to escape, just so I can see you. I can't bare life without you. I miss us, so much.

Estrella sighed, and laid her head on her crossed paws, eyes flickering to the stars, which seemingly, were not as bright as they were before. She missed Lien so much, he had been kidnapped by two black panthers,  and taken to a "facility", she didn't know where, but she wanted to find him, or for him to find her.
They had been a "couple" for two months, yes it is a short time, but they had fallen deeply in love when Estrella was gazing at the stars, and Lien was singing a song about the stars. 
She rose to her feet, and stretched out, a sorrowful expression on her sunrise-colored face, and walked slowly to the hollow tree she had made her 'home'. 
Estrella laid down, and started to hum the song Lien had sang when they first met, when she thought about him, she didn't feel so alone, but it also made her feel even more alone, if that made any sense.

Lien nudged the letter he had written to Estrella to a small bird, who grabbed it in its beak, and dropped it to the ground, on to a larger ones' back, and 'telling' him to take it to Estrella. 
He looked out the tiny window, seeing the stars, which reminded him of his Estrella. He laid down on the cold stone ground, and closed his eyes, making an attempt to fall asleep. Failing, he began to pace, and sing, Lien loved to sing, he sang in his sleep, he sang when he was with Estrella, he sang when he ate,  he sang all the time.
