and the patrol figured it would storm. They started to head back with their prey, but soon, the sky opened up and it began to
pour. Sapphire was at the rear of the patrol, pelt slick with rain. Within a fraction of a second, a flash of lightning hurdled down
from the sky, and struck Sapphire, leaving the cat in cardiac arrest. Unfortunately, there was nothing the patrol could do but make
the knight's last few minutes alive as comfortable as possible.
