• i can't get into Specifics:tm: of course, but this one place up in the mountains was absolutely gorgeous. it was so cold! i had a breakdown that trip but not because of the place. it was (and still is, i assume) a beautiful area and i hope to go back

i really like the webtoon 'ghost eyes', i just finished it although it's still being updated and i loved everything about it from the artstyle to the relatability of the characters to the storyline, idk seeing characters anywhere that are portrayed as having mental health issues means a lot to me

v what did you get for christmas?

Let’s see… Lots of new clothes that I desperately needed since I had cleared my entire dresser the other year. I had no long sleeves or warm clothes so I was pleased to receive awesome new Nightmare Before Christmas shirts and pajamas along with a warm hoodie and new pajama pants and sweats. Now I can be cozy ^v^
I also got a new iPad case with a skeleton and a skull iPhone case to fit my new phone. Wireless earbuds. And a new insulated Loki cup.

Then for my birthday (2 days after Christmas) I got a Loki tree ornament, an Avengers Loki funko to match my TVA Loki funko and the the brand new The Art of Loki book made from the series concept art!

v whats a character you relate to and why?

Bro that’s tough… I have a really hard time with these. But since it makes me think, I will try. One of the first characters that came to mind was Connor from Detroit: Become Human. It seems pretty random, but it makes some sense after thinking about it. He is an android, lacks definitive purpose if he is not running on a program, expresses feelings in a subtle way even though he is technically “empty” inside, and simulates what he thinks being human means in order to establish a relationship with someone. Despite there being plenty of characters like this, he was the one to appear in my head. I have frequently expressed to people throughout my life that if it wasn’t due to social demands, I would not react to most things. It is not that I don’t have feelings, it’s that I seem to be selective with what I invest myself in. Most things are not worth the effort. However, my particular line of work is demanding when it comes to being social. I wouldn’t have a job if I did not pretend. I have attempted to make friends, and I find that the people I appreciate most are the distant ones I do not feel obligated to share daily conversations with. *cringe removed 4/26/2024* Due to being let down and not having the proper coping mechanisms, isolation has become my preference… emotional or otherwise.
