Mistmask quickly took notice of their black and white friends' sorrow over the absence of Whitequartz and tried to cheer them up in every way they possibly could. They went on patrols together, spent hours grooming each other under the tree, reassuring they would never leave each other. The thought their relationship could be something more special started whispering in their minds.

The ember newcomer refused to change their name to a proper Lightwalker name, Meteorfall accepted their choice as they valued individual self expression, but the subguide took that as an offence towards lightwalkers. Although headstrong, Chocottone was a very sweet cat who quickly befriended their companions.

A smooth pebble flew by the nursery, quickly finding the blue paws of little Graupel, who threw it back to Granite. The light guide observed from the nursery's entrance, Meteorfall loved to bring smooth pebbles and big feathers for the kits to play with, sometimes joining them, it was the least they could do to relieve the caretakers from their energetic kittens. They knew Granite was close to moving out of the nursery and becoming the group's first novice, and that thought filled them with excitement and a growing anxiety, the lynx point was proud of their clan's growth but afraid of something bad happening. They wouldn't be able to deal with their kits or companions being injured or even killed, although it was a part of a cruel reality, sometimes Meteorfall wished they lived in an utopic society free of illnesses and suffering. Lost in their thoughts, it took them a second to notice a little fuzzy head pressing against their chest - of course it was Granite - Meteor was willing to do anything for that kit to have a good life.

Patrolling (Topazcloud): Tragedy struck Topazcloud's patrol as a wild dog attacked the patrol. Frogflare and Briarrose paused
in terror- one of these wild beasts had maimed their mother. Frogflare snapped out of it and ran, screaming for his sister to follow,
but Briarrose was like stone- petrified by the beast whose slobbering jaws seemed only a few inches away from her head. She was
quickly brought back to reality when Topazcloud leaped on the dog's back, distracting it enough for Briarrose to run away. Unfortunately, the dog bucked Topazcloud off and charged for Briarrose, taking her paw in its mouth and crunching down hard,
shattering the bones in her leg. She let out a bloodcurdling scream, which alerted the rest of the patrol of the peril she was in.
With the rest of the patrol there, they managed to chase away the dog and help Briarrose limp home. The medicine cats knew that
her leg was too damage to be repaired, and so they resorted to amputating her leg. Briarrose will need three moons of rest,
x1 willow bark, x1 cobweb, and x1 horsetail.

EucalyptusClan is located next to a small billabong in Western Australia.
EucalyptusClan come in many shades and sizes, though cats are often shorthaired due to heat and to allow them to swim without being weighed down. EucalyptusClan cats most often originate from a small town several kilometers north of their camp, but after leaving the town, they rarely come into contact with twolegs.
Camp is found under the shade of eucalyptus trees where the shrubs are thickest, providing the most privacy and protection. Dens are made from digging holes and covering them with plants.

Helleborepaw looked with brightened, wide eyes as his mother curled around three small bundles. He was slightly trembling in excitement as his mother beckoned him over. Helleborepaw looked at the three small kits before him and blinked slowly. These were his siblings, and he was their big brother. Graveldust let out a giant purr as she noticed her son's excitement, "This is Picoteekit," She gestured towards the largest kit, "This one is Hollykit," She pointed to the one next to Picoteekit, "And this one is Rosekit." Helleborepaw's eyes sparkled, but he turned as he saw Isopodstar enter the den, a massive grin on his face. Graveldust blinked slowly up at him, her mouth a smile, "Isopodstar!" The oriental purred as Graveldust patted the ground beside her, and Isopodstar sat next to her, "Congratulations! I'm so happy for you, Graveldust." The gray tabby's throat rumbled with a purr. She introduced Isopodstar to each kit as Helleborepaw watched with a big grin.

Mandrakespell was sprawled on the ground, yawning. Badgerbite curled up next to him, soaking up the sunlight. "Tell me again what your owner did?" The black-and-white tom asked. Mandrakespell huffed, "She wasn't my owner; we were co-workers! And she used herbs and a bunch of cool stuff. I don't know what most of it was, though, considering I can't speak twoleg." Badgerbite shrugged his shoulders in agreement, "Guess so. Hey, do you think Basatan likes Ashstorm? He talks to Ashstorm so often." Mandrakespell laughed again, "More like Ashstorm constantly annoys Basatan! The poor guy can't catch a break when all Ashstorm wants to do talk about all his romantic endeavors. How many kits do you think the guy has?" At this, Badgerbite rolled his eyes, "Zero. Any sane cat would see he is much too egotistical to raise kits." Mandrakespell chuckled, "I can't argue with you there."

Juniperthroat looked uncomfortable as the three young kits surrounded him. "Please tell us stories! You have so many cool scars!" Oakkit piped up while her siblings nodded in agreement. "Well, uh-" Juniperthroat stopped. He didn't want to recall this part of his childhood, especially to kits, but they were determined. He let out a thankful sigh as Cedarspeckle appeared and chastised the kits, "You three! Come back to the nursery now. If Juniperthroat doesn't want to talk about his past, you don't force him to." She said sternly, and the kits looked up at Juniperthroat before, one by one going back into the nursery. Cedarspeckle sighed, "I have my paws full. I'm sorry they were bothering you, Juniperthroat. I taught them some manners, but they are a bit too curious." Juniperthroat let out a small chuckle, "My siblings and I were the same way." At the mention of his siblings, his voice slightly cracked, and Cedarspeckle gently laid her tail across his shoulders as a sign of comfort. "If you ever need someone to talk to, Juniperthroat. I'll always be your clanmate- but more importantly, your friend." Juniperthroat leaned into Cedarspeckle, purring heavily. "Thank you, Cedarspeckle. That really does mean the world to me." Juniperthroat's voice cracked with emotion. He finally found the one place he knew he belonged.
