got a snow day at work!!!

knowing that in about 10-11 weeks i can eat lunch meat again !! oh my gosh, i never thought i'd be so excited about being able to eat certain foods again lol. especially lunch meat. as soon as i give birth and heal- i'm gonna buy myself a thick slice of prosciutto, some pastrami, pancetta, and genoa salami. maybe corned beef too...🤤

i'm so excited omg. i've been craving lunch meat pretty much my entire pregnancy so knowing it's safe to eat while breastfeeding is awesome news.

I am about to send my sister a really good pet I got on the 18th for a nice virtual Christmas present. Here goes!

After getting home from my parents' for Christmas, I found a package from my best friend, who lives in Canada. She'd originally mailed me with the pretense of "I'm gonna send you some honey dill sauce" since you can't buy it here.

Well, not only did she send me honey dill sauce, but an entire, lovingly crafted holiday package, with:
-A minidisc player that I love so much I based an OC on it- complete with the battery pack, charger, dock, controller, and a bunch of minidiscs onto which she'd burned some of my favourite albums. It's really hard to put into words what a generous gift this was just on its own, I am genuinely moved to tears
but on top of that she also sent:
-A complete Japanese copy of SoulSilver, with the pokewalker and everything
-Mini figures of alolan vulpix and alolan ninetales, two of my fav pokemon
-A bunch of pokemon stickers
-Some mint candies
I hardly know how to respond. I have the best best friend ever. I'm so amazed at how kind people can be. I will never forget this.

I never found foam spine rollers to help with my chronic pain
Today, when I was lying on the hardwood floor, I had a thought
So I put little hand weights under the worst spots
Immediately my back cracked (which provides some relief of pain for me) and, after 20 minutes I got up to no pain in my back for a whole 5 minutes! (absolutely unheard of for me)

a seventh grade boy came up to me and asked if i was a mushroom person once.
my life goal has been fulfilled and i will now ascend.
i hope that little boy has a great life, he deserves the best lol
