tell your tale ! :: Since both Lily and Shell are far too shy to sing in front of other people, neither has ever really tried to write a song before. With Shell also not having much knowledge about goomas in general aside from what Lily has told them, they find this idea even more challenging. Still, the two are not going to just give up, so they both sit there, staring at a blank piece of paper and a pencil. They are struggling to come up with a good enough idea that they could make up an entire song about. While they eventually manage to come up with a few goomas-related thoughts, like snow goobies and goomas lights, neither has any clue how to write an entire song about any of them. So, they usually end up just scratching the idea and going back to thinking.
"Decorating cookies?" Shell suggests eventually, after both have been silent and deep in thought for several minutes.
"Sure, it is worth a shot," Lily agrees. At least they could include a bunch of different candies for decorations and shapes for the cookies, maybe that would be enough to write a full length song?
...Though they still need to find a way to make most of it rhyme.
"I wonder if we could use a bunch of baking puns instead of making it rhyme," Lily comments.
"I mean, the instructions never said we couldn't," Shell points out.

The two end up writing a long list of baking puns.
Nearly every other line is about chocolate.
They both absolutely love it.
Well, this might not be a traditional song, but at least they had fun making it! That's the important thing, right?

tell your tale ! :: If my agel could write a goomas song about anything it would be about angels (emblems of goomas, often depicted as tree toppers and ornaments, their presence making my agel feel safe and also important/represented), stars (a connection to the sky that reminds my agel of home, but also of hope and imagination with connecting the shapes together), and friendship (the spirit of goomas itself, gift giving and thankfulness shared with one's friends!). My agel isn't sure how they'd write such a song, but if they could, it would warm the heart with winter well-wishes, inspiring excitement about a goomas spent stargazing and decorating with friends.

Alcibiades would write a goomas song about how much he hates goomas and doesn't want to participate in it, pessimistic, yes, edgy, for sure, but it would be what makes sense to him. Something about how the holidays only brings people apart more than it brings together- friends being ditched for the month in favor of family. Not to mention the sweets and the cakes- good in moderation, but during the season there's just so much of it that it's no wonder that things start exploding or other goobies start falling ill. When it comes to goomas carols, Alcibiades will pass, if not start complaining instead of singing.

The cold weather has given Chalk an excellent idea for a song. There are so many carols about the joys of winter and the holidays, but it’s time for a more humorous and relatable one about the cold, she thinks. Her working title is ‘Goobsicle’, and it’s about all the times she hasn’t noticed her wings and halo freezing solid while outside having fun until it’s time to fly back home.
