And then same thing with the 09'VRs in the October list. They went from working seamlessly with the 2:1 rule until they all of a sudden jumped from 1.5 to 2 times their value. If this continues on, by the time 2025 hits, new users will never be able to complete collections. The only people that aspect of this list benefits are those who already had a bunch of those storepets/VRs and can now trade them for twice their original value. Thus creating a bigger swing of inflation.
as i said before, store pets are going to go up in value as they get older. they are pets that will never be rereleased. i actually started playing this game last year, and horror's list seems like a breath of fresh air compared to the old one. it's been easy for me to understand and get a more "valuable" account, and horror has put a lot of work into making this list as fair as it can possibly be. he values the pets based typically on the date that they became very rare, as well as the demand of the pets. i don't think this list was made only to benefit those who already had these pets. most people who trade using this list trade for these pets at that value, and trade them away at the same. it's a good guideline for traders and is easy to follow. and of course by 2025 the oldest pets are going to be more valuable, that's what happens as these pets get older and older. a complete collection is a really difficult task to complete, but that is not this list's fault. the pets are older, meaning they're harder to come by, which leads to them having higher values.

I didn't mean for that part of my comment to sound rude c,: I didn't mean that the list was soley made for that purpose. I just think it benefits those who have been around longer much more. For example, I joined somewhere between 2013-2014 before I deleted my old account. I don't even remember the year. (I have gone through a couple of hiatuses) I was a lot younger then and I remember the corgis being in the store. If I had hoarded those corgis. I would have roughly 3MA's worth out of one set. Now multiply that. Then continue through all the years I was around for storepets. Nobody would ever be able to trade me. They're just worth too much. (I'm mainly gearing all this at the frustrations of younger users that don't have the money to drop 100s of dollars on C$. Or really anyone.) The game is about being accessible to everyone and while, yes. Those who were around years ago have the right to own their valuable pets, I think the values of pets should be rounded down instead of up to give some ease to those new players. Or even returning players. At least when possible. With the old list, there was the "gap" and that's essentially what's going to happen with storepets over time between 2014 and 2015. And I agree that it is fair that the storepets are worth more because they don't rerelease. But if you think about a rare from this year VS the worth of a storepet from this year. That gap in value is already made by default.
I don't think it would solve the problem completely, but it would at least help.

***This is going to be another big post so imma go ahead and section it, lol.4:1 VS 2:1 VS Other
In the early days, we used to use a combination of 4:1 for U:Rare, and 2:1 for everything else (C:U, R:VR, etc.) however I dont believe that system is relevant any more due to both the rarity updates and the rarity name expansions (i.e. we can now see if 2 pets are omgsc or very common or either whereas before they may both have been under the 'very common' header even if one was actually omgsc).
For a long time now, users I have interacted with (as well as myself eventually) have used a 2:1 across the entire board UNLESS the pet was OMGSR, had higher demand or was from 2008.
I think the reason for 'demand' trades being treated differently speaks for itself.
However, it's my personal opinion that the reason we treat 2008 R/VRs and OMGSR trades differently was because in 2008, 2009 and 2010 we had a LOT of commons, uncommons and several rares but virtually no VRs so I feel we just tended to value those 'very rares' much differently than we do now (especially as we didn't have OMGSR yet).
Rarity Math Between Years
As for the 2 different 'Rare across the years' charts, while I see the logistical benefits to trading, by having a different system for larger year gaps, I dont feel we should have it at all. It confuses trading when you have different systems, especially when you are new and one person uses one method...You think you now know how to trade...Someone says something else...What is a 'bigger gap'...etc. etc.
If a user doesn't feel comfortable trading larger trades then let them work their way up instead (ie. smaller year gap trades until they get close enough to their goal).
More of My Opinion on C$
As for C$, I believe it should be worked out logically and not by demand as I feel this guide has tried to push against demand (which I personally like - demand is fickle whereas logic is steadfast). Also, I still believe we shouldn't cater an entire section of this guide to the users who've managed to attain 1000's of CS otherwise it really does leave out the majority of the community.
Lastly is a query.I checked the entire thread to see if there was an answer to this but cannot find anything so...
Why is the High- Value Pet trading system (NON/MA/Rare exchange) so weird?Horror wrote:The HIGH-VALUE PET Trading System - NONS & MA:

"NONS" = The measurement for the most expensive pets on CS. It goes by quarters
- 1 NON = 100-150 2009 Rares OR 10-12 Mid Advents
- 0.75 NON = 75-81 2009 Rares OR 8-9 Mid Advents
- 0.5 Non = 50-75 09 Rares OR 5-7 MA
- 0.25 Non = 25-37 09 Rares OR 3-4 MA
So if someone says a pet is worth a non, it's worth 100-150 2009 rares. If a pet is worth 2 nons, it's worth double that
"Non" also refers to the four pets the name came from
Like the name says, a Non-dog is worth a Non: Nontag / Nonswirl / Nonjewel / Noncoon
(does not refer to the nonballoon, which was released later and is less rare)
Anything less than 0.25 Non is measured in MA
"MA" = "Mid Advents" - the measurement for valuable pets not worth enough to be measured in nons
The name came from some pets of the Advent list. Like the name says, a pet on the MA tier is worth an MA
- 0.5 MA = 3-4 2009 R
- 0.75 MA = 4-6 2009 R
- 1 MA = 6-9 2009 Rares
- 1.25 MA = 1 MA + 1-2 09 R (8-10 09 R)
- 1.5 MA = 9-12 09 R
- 2 MA = 12-18 09 R
- 3 MA = 18-24 09 R
If someone says a pet is worth 1 MA, it's worth 6 to 9 2009 rares. If a pet is worth 2 MA, it's worth double that
If a pet is worth less than 0.5 MA, itβs only measured in rares or whatever is applicable to its rarity
More than once you have mentioned that if a pet is worth e.g. 2 MA then you should double 1 MA but it doesn't add up in the chart you gave.
Surely it should be the following (as I've used for years) instead?:- 0.25 MA = 1.5-2 2009 Rares
- 0.5 MA = 3-4 2009 Rares
- 0.75 MA = 4.5-6 2009 Rares
- 1 MA = 6-8 2009 Rares
- 1.25 MA = 1 MA + 1.5-2 2009 Rares (OR 7.5-10 2009 Rares)
- 1.5 MA = 9-12 2009 Rares
- 2 MA = 12-16 2009 Rares
- 3 MA = 18-24 2009 Rares
- 0.25 Non = 15-24 2009 Rares (OR 2.5-3 Mid Advents)
- 0.5 Non = 30-48 2009 Rares (OR 5-6 Mid Advents)
- 0.75 NON = 45-72 2009 Rares (OR 7.5-9 Mid Advents)
- 1 NON = 60-96 2009 Rares (OR 10-12 Mid Advents)

The Pink/Purple/White Tess Horse is found in the Low Advents/High Octobers section. It trades for between 0.5-0.75 MAs. You probably won't be able to either get the ur pps dragon or the pps dragon cat for it. The ur pps dragon is currently going for at least 3 nons and in order to make 1 non you would need 10-12 MAs and the Pink/Purple/White Tess Horse isn't worth a full MA. The PPS Dragon Cat is worth 0.25 nons-0.5 nons (although it has been going for crazy high lately) and unfortunately that would mean you would need anywhere from 3-7 MAS, and again the Tess Horse isn't worth a full MA.
So I'm sorry to say you probably won't be able to trade the Tess Horse for either of those pets.
