tell your tale ! ::~ All of the turtle doves flew away, What do we have three of now? ~
Three. Three, three, three.
What did they have?
Three.
Hm.
"A lot of things come in trios. Clover leafs, strings of stars, birds. Blooming roses and dreams.
Lost keys and lost lives. Any object that would fit together, according to color or shape or material."
Veen said softly, closing her eyes, thinking about ways to answer.
She began speaking,
"There is a legend that claims theres beings with three lives.
Theres legends about such beings, ranging from creatures with three heads or three tails, nthree pairs of arms or wings and legs.
Legends of revival and death and sorrow and love.
Legends about letting go.
Letting go. Spreading wings and taking flight after you have been bound for days on end. Weeks, days, months.
Years.
There is a legend that claims that those whk wait get to return.
There is a legend that says whoeger crosses my path gets three wishes.
There is a legend that there is three rules.
There was once three goos who found a loophole."
She stared nervously, seeing how everyone else had simple answers, not made-up stories and lenghty words.
She sighed, deeming it worthless to speak.
"Although, if you want an
actual current answer, im surenyiu could look around the room and find a lot of threes."
She turns to Look at Sugar and Tangerine.
"I suppose we'd count as three, but the children are asleep." She smiled fondly, before looking at the others.
"I also have some keys i can give, some tulips, too.
...Maybe it was not the time for legends, although im willing to tell my pointless stories to whoever wants them. Whoever asks."
