I think I'm officially done with Dec.18th...

Having been a consistent player for 9 years, spent hours upon hours on my account, even put money into it, worked so hard for what I have. Yet every single Dec 18th I'm disappointed by what I can only explain as the pets no one wants.

One year I got a low advent pet. That is as great as it gets. This year, I got a 2011 rare Halloween dog. Not a fan of the designs. A rare sitting cat (not a warrior). And a very rare rat.....a RAT. Not even list rat. Regular old vr rat.
No i know I will sound ungrateful. I have been the one to tell people they should be grateful they have the opportunity for 3 free rare pets and the possibility of rarer. The fact this is a thing is amazing and I stand by that. But I have been spending my last few months in A&E, diagnosed with blood clots in my early 20s and this was one thing I was looking forward to making it to and I get...a ....rat. THE worst pet in the game.

Yet you still get people getting more than one UR. I have never had one in my life but so many people get multiple list pets.
Thus game is absolutely broken and so is my heart...

I'm sorry for the rant. I am very happy for everyone and I'm glad I got the opportunity. I'm just tired of 8 years of disappointment

But I feel like this could be a nice place for people to vent about the outcome rather than seeing everyone so happy with their pets. People who aren't mad or upset but just disappointed by their continuous bad luck on this game 💖

I agree, and I hope staff don’t take offense to this cause we all are truly grateful for the opportunity for free rare pets of any kind but this should def be used as a safe place to vent about not getting pets YOUVE always wanted. Like „venting your thoughts“ is as valid as sharing all the URs and OMGsr you get

Yes! Very well said ❤️ the idea of getting 3 free rare pets every year is amazing. But there never feels like a safe place to rant about the outcome in a non aggressive way 🥰

been here 11 years
in my time of remembering only ever had 2 URs both low demand nobody wanted them outside of the craze of owning them in the moment of it being new mostly always had rats and low demand species although i did see someone post a pie chart of the chance of a pet you'd get funny enough if i remember right their chart was that low demand pets like rats everyone hates are more likely to be your outcome than something u actually want

now im not to fussed anymore so cant say im complaining got rid of all mine to someone this year for some store pets anyway but in the moment of watching for 11 years i probably get that CS try and release more of these low demand pets to make their demand a bit more like "hey look you got a rat we totally need more players with rats because everyone hates them and they need love"
but i think CS staff do need to think for the re-release that millions of players despise these species and probably always will so the fact we get them more commonly just makes people upset on these kind of days and after so many years it ruins the excitement where some will wake up like "oh great what am i gonna get today.....oh yeah another ugly rat or pony etc"
kinda not fun especially to some players who play for so many years and get the same time after time they personally in my opinion should select specific species releases each year for the boxes rather than us randomly getting something which is almost always going to be useless through trades for us

i also get its by pure luck but the fact some players are getting 2+ URS in one sitting while everyone else sits in the background with low demand pets whats really the point of a re-release when barley anyone is actually getting what you'd call decent rereleases?
Lets face it from my years of being here no one wants a low demand species like a rat a pony or even the fruits dont always have good demand everyone is aiming for things like the older dogs, cats etc but how are we going to make these easier to trade for as CS says if nobody is still even getting them that often? especially because it does seem CS is slowly dying so less players are coming by the years of them out growing the site or being bored meaning thats even more of a less chance of us getting specific pets even on our one hopeful "rerelease day"

Now for some people sure its a great day of luck
for others like myself you sit back and not care just throw it all in a folder wait another year
but some who have the spirit and excitement being crushed every year (especially like 8+ years) of the advent you'd at least expect them to give people a bit more of a better chance or re-think to not release as many of the pets they know nobody actually wants

Just see it this way imagine being a player of 5 long years and always getting rats or other low demands no URs no nothing
imagine them seeing a user of 1 year or even a few months getting two URs and a high demand first time
how would it make them feel? not in the moment of "Oh yeah its PURE LUCK in what you get" but it'll make them sit down really thinking "well is it pure luck knowing i have had the same for over 5+ years while this user not even of a year has had great pets?"
it dulls the moment for many players sadly and i dont think CS realise how their not really helping circulate specific pets that people are actually after into trading more easier their making it harder because still im seeing less people getting the pets that everyone wants to trade for rather their getting pets that nobody likes *also keep in mind the fact when people DO get these pets such as a sunback players cling onto it for dear life half the time they want a insane amount of overpay knowing they can juice it out of users who are desperate for this as their dream pet and its just making it more harder to trade for properly with some users who dont try and take the advantage of the value of some pets same with the issues on the site during this day with scammers who will sadly target users who have blanket dogs from like 2008 who know nothing of their value*
i get it some of these pets are part of the site they have been for years but when you have a good look at how disliked and less adopted or traded for some species are i sometimes sit and think to myself....well why are we still releasing these? wouldnt we listen more to the members of the site and release pets more popular of what they like instead of a species which only a small amount of people even like?

Of course thats just my opinion and i do believe that their will be another point to it to be seen by the staff or someone who sees it differently hopefully no one takes it the wrong way as i do still know some people do actually like the lower demand pets and all or have a different view to me ^^

True true! I’m glad we both can support each other on this cause ppl never know what goes on in other ppls lives and something like a missed opportunity on something you truly wanted to make you feel better… can be disappointing, „adding another problem“ to your already boiling pot

First time ever i get 2 bunnies, one is ex list but is only worth .5 MA, and the dog i get is also at most worth .5 MA i think ive seen somewhere, not entirely sure.

I dont know what to do with this im verh dissapointed. Especially since someone got all 3 new URs….

So extremely beautiful having you explain this. I have wrist problems so replying in long text isn’t my strong suit BUT I’ll make an exception for this. I truly agree with that mentality, as I said in a post I posted seconds after yours… you never know what someone’s dealing with in real life and even tho „these pets aren’t real“, we dedicate our time and support into this site. Logging back on, keeping it alive, for some of the oldest or most giving/active players to be disappointed every. Single. Year.

Yeah honestly there should be an honest cap on how many free URs someone gets thats Just my opinion tho. Like 3 New releases for 1 person?? Really?? And I mean good for them but it’s a slap to the face to most when they post it boasting about their crazy extreme luck beck to back every year. Like there’s gratefulness and then to the extent of crossing the „bragging/showing off“ line

Thought I’d share my thoughts here… I’m not necessarily angry or anything but I’ve been on for Dec 18th most years (joined in 2016) and I’ve never gotten a UR from the advent. I know it’s all luck and chance but it’s kinda disheartening.

Like this year I got a rare rat from the candy event LOL. I truly appreciate getting 3 free rares but I’ve seen SO many people this year receiving multiple URs so y’know.

Also the fact that people ask SO MUCH for the new URs like what.This isn’t a pity post but there’s no way I’m going to be able to trade for one.
