How Do You Organize Your Pets?

When I first joined I sorted them by year and month (yikes) but after some while I got bored and they're now sorted by rarity, except for a few groups which contain my favourite designs and baby deer.

I sort my pets by classes, species and favoritism. I class them by their common attributes, like reptiles, winged animals, and animals with furs. There are pps sections for the more common pets such as birds, cats and dogs too!

as much as i would love to do year + month, the scrolling annoys me and that's so many groups! its hard to create groups and sort pets on here so the easier i can make it the better.
currently i have trading group, current monthly pets, my secret santa gift group, my favorite pet designs, my dreamie pets, then i sort by species!

My special groups is sorted differently but I started sorting majority of my pets like this:

01. <___January___>
01. Monthly adopts
01. New Year
01. Lunar New Year

02. <__Febuary__>
02. Monthly adopts
02. Mardi Gras
02. Valentines Day

Ect.

It’s nice because I just scroll to whatever is currently going on and dump the pets there. It’s still wip so I’m still in the process of fixing everything, I’ve been a bit lazy about it. I also plan to eventually make a post to organize by year through links.

I'm always curious how people prefer to organise their pets, I've noticed all sorts of different ways people do it and I'd love to hear about others organisational choices!

For me, I keep it simple. I just organise by species, and have organised trade categories for easy browsing. But sometimes I think about changing up my system 🤔

What do you guys think? Have any favourite types of organisation? Or maybe some pet peeves?

i prefer to organise my pets mostly by date and events. feel free to check out my pets lol

Trade groups, used to sort them by events, but there's a lot and it started to feel a bit cluttered, working on making different groups for specific themes/vibes and some species groups for pets I like that don't fit with any themes.

I organize my pets with 3 categories: one with groups for my favorite pets, one for groups for my otter collection and another for unorganized, other stuff and trade groups.

hmm mine is kinda confusing so first it’s by event category and then all the non event pets are grouped by the species (and there’s also groups for pets w/h pps/rare pets)
