Devil nodded, "I'm fine, just a bit bruised I guess." Her tail swished gently to hit lightly against her side. Her neck was the only thing bothering her at the moment only because the rope had rubbed to much against it. "Did you get hurt?" A tinge of worry edged in her voice.

" Echo " Arrow said trotting up to her.

I'm okay just a cut down my back from the human whips" Steel said as a sharp pain from it went down his back.

"there you are!' echo said and stoped, glad to see arrow was ok.

" Yup it's me " Arrow Said jokingly " Are you ok " He asked in a serious tone of voice. Arrow looked into Echo's eye's.

"Yes im fine, a little rope burn but its fine" Echo asured him before lowering her head and useing a hind leg to scratch her ear.

Devil gave a sympathetic look at his back and winced slightly. It did look painful. She shook her mane before saying, "Humans cause so much pain for us wild horses sometimes." But sometimes they were rather helpful though she didn't say that aloud.

Echo looked behind her before back at Arrow and the herd. "Everyone stay togeather and on thease slopes!" Echo said, lifting her head high.

" Thats good i hate humans " Arrow said he swished his tail hard then stopped he did that when he was thinking to hard.

" I know " Steel said " You wanna come to the river with me " Steel asked.

Echo looked at him closely. He would make a good lead stallion. And i like him. But does he like me? Echo thought

Devil was a bit taken off guard by the question but she answered calmly, "Sure." Her eyes were a bit questioning as to why he would want to go to the winter and her ears flicked gently in thought.
