Van squeaked and blushed at her greeting, feeling a bit embarrassed. "H-hi...". he said, slowly walking in and sitting down next to her.

Rose smiled and took one last picture of Kiwi. She then put her phone away.

"Was Kiwi as good bird while I was gone?" Van asked with a soft chuckle. He watched as the green bird hopped over to him and climbed up the front of his shirt, perching on his shoulder.

"Oh yes. I got some good pictures of him." Rose said while showing Van some pictures of Kiwi.

Van smiled as he looked at her phone, chuckling at the cute pictures of his bird. "Awe, those are so cute, you'll have to send them to me. What a good bird" he said. "Good bird" came the sudden voice of Kiwi, he finally said his first words.

Rose gasped. "That was so cute!" She said with a smile.

"Wow, he finally said his first words. He must really like you" Van said as he watched the green bird climb down his shoulder and onto Rose's lap, chirping happily at her and tilting his head.

Kiwi chirped and climbed up on her lap and onto her shoulder, gazing at her with curious eyes and grabbing at her hair with his foot.

Rose giggled. "Good boy." She cooed to the bird.
