  i just,, KJSHFKHSF okay so i was playing bugsnax and i was talking to one of my siblings about it and they would not stop she/her-ing floofty. i told them twice that floofty uses they/them pronouns, once when they first asked about the character and the second time after they had misgendered them a few times. and they just....kept on LMAO,,, and like,, to a degree i get it,, we've both had the same parents, the same upbringing. we were taught (or in this case not taught) the same things. BUT it's just,,, frustrating, i guess? bc like,, if they can't even see a character as nonbinary (OR NOT EVEN,, JUST USE THE RIGHT PRONOUNS EVEN IF THEY DON'T CHANGE THEIR INTERNAL VIEW OF THAT CHARACTER,, oops caps sdkfhsk) chances are, they won't be able to see me as nonbinary, either. i mean, idk, i just,, this is part of why i want to cut off my family. they just don't get it and i don't think they ever will.
