Also just a quick question, is rereleases stated anywhere? Cause if I'm correct, some TD pets are worth more compared to their rereleases.

TDs are worth the exact same as RRs, but for some reason there are people who think TDs are "more real" than RRs and will ask whatever they want for them. The values on this list apply to both TDs and RRs - personally, I believe if people think RRs are worth less, they should trade them lower than these values, but they just use the December 18th system as an excuse to trade TDs higher than these values.

Only TD ones, re-releases usually get around 3.5.

As someone else said the post is specifically talking about true dates, which end up more inherently valuable due to the number in circulation only decreasing over time c: However 10n for a TD is still way too much imo, unless for a particularly low digit ID one.

So there are some exceptions to TDs?

TDs are generally valued more due to the logic that there will never be more of them! Sure, rares+ get rereleased, and while for most purposes they are the same pet they will never have that original release date! Some people like TDs due to them aligning to their 'intended' places in groups, some like them just because they like the idea of owning an original release, others (me personally included) don't really care! However even if you DON'T plan to seek out TDs it's worth being aware that many value 'em more c:

(For some TDs, mainly old 2008 ones, there's also potential for low pet ID numbers which some people like :])

the second one jumps because 2016 base value is 1 early '09 rare. you can't go any higher value than an early '09 rare in trading values besides adding on more '09 rares.
also mentioned in the C$ part is that all store pets before 2014 follow list pet values, it does not say they're all 150 c$, just that they go by list values when trading them. the pets are valued highly because of age and demand, which leads to them being worth more. it's the same case with the non-C$ value list as well. the older the get, the more demand and more worth they accumulate.

Well yes that's true, but why wouldn't they just go from 1 '09 to 2 '09 to 3 '09, .5MA and so on so forth. Doubling in value instead of tripling with that one year. (and the only reason I didn't specify which list/value is because 3-4 09's is .5MA so that evens out) The 2015-2014 storepets didn't have nearly the same demand until this list and that's because everyone priced them going up in 5-10C$ up until the early 2013-2011 stores. And then same thing with the 09'VRs in the October list. They went from working seamlessly with the 2:1 rule until they all of a sudden jumped from 1.5 to 2 times their value. If this continues on, by the time 2025 hits, new users will never be able to complete collections. The only people that aspect of this list benefits are those who already had a bunch of those storepets/VRs and can now trade them for twice their original value. Thus creating a bigger swing of inflation. I remember buying some of those storepets/trading for them years ago. It's true that they were newer at the time, but still... very very different
