She stopped frolicking, sensing paw steps. She heard leaves rustle around. A wolf was coming up to her. She turned. "Who are you?" She demanded. Though it was faint, she still had the smell of redmoon.

He acknowledged Gauge's words with a flick of his tail. He waited for Liberty to tell his previous alpha he had betrayed them. Shy Fawn was still staring at his paws..

"Okay, Scythe." She said, more calm then usual still. She closed her eyes for some rest.

Liberty

Before taking any further steps to the border his eyes fell on Shy fawn looking over his shoulder and glaring at the brute as he fell in behind Blaze who snarled at the omega just as he should. Omega deserved to be constantly reminded of their position in this pack, especially Shy Fawn who is returning from a betrayal. But no advantage could be had in keeping Shy Fawn or at least he couldn't be used as an angle in conversation to leverage some things back in Liberty’s favor but nonetheless, he would accept the feeble brute back into his pack. After he listened to Blaze threaten Fawn Liberty smirked a bit then returned his gaze to the path ahead of him to begin walking. He could clearly smell the two wolves beyond the border just who was it? “Stay alert but silent. Should they act on aggression they will find themselves to be outnumbered” he whispered firmly. In his heart, he hoped that a fight would not come of whatever situation the group was about to find themselves in.

In mere moments after his final decision was made the Alphess from the Starlight pack appeared with a pitch-black wolf of unknown rank to Liberty. He could tell The she-wolf was in charge based on how the black wolf followed behind her with haste. The Alphess was smaller in stature and her fur was a mixture of brown and black even from where Liberty stood her amber-colored eyes seem to shine in a matter most regal. He noted the respectful approach when she dipped her head to them so in response he did so as well. Previously he carried himself lazily slunking a bit but since the appearance of the Alphess, he stood tall attempting to look proud and regal as well to represent his pack properly.

He could see that Destiny was upset based on how she glared at Liberty’s newest returning member. His eyes remained on her and the wolf she brought with her. He blinked in confusion a couple of times before realizing that she may have asked a rhetorical question and from his experience, it's done for effect not to necessarily elicit a response from someone. Yet he responded anyway, “Does the sun give its light to the moon assuming the moon is going to owe it one?” he asked in response to her question. He said this because of the multiple levels of meaning besides a blunt no. He knew that he was betrayed by Shy Fawn and the action hurt more than just himself but he couldn't bring himself to hate the wolf. When he was sure that his words had made their point he sighed heavily and followed the she-wolf’s gaze for just a moment noticing she was looking at Shy Fawn before returning his gaze to the Alphess. Destiny had every right to be upset about what had just occurred and in thinking about it Liberty guessed it was kind of funny but not enough to force him to laugh. “ My name is Liberty I am the Alpha of the Redmoon pack. This isn't exactly how I imagined our first meeting. I do not want any bloodshed, not between our packs.” his face was stiff and emotionless while his voice was firm he hoped that besides the silliness of the situation that a peace accord could be made but that could only be determined by Destiny’s response which again he hoped the she-wolf was like-minded in the thought.

Dante

“You can't be. I am seeing this as well…”, The brute quickly fell in behind his Alpha after she mentioned how their cover had been blown, Dante knew this, but he was surprised by how boldly his Alpha left the cover to approach the Alpha of the Redmoon pack in fact he almost contested when she started to move but before he could speak Destiny had already begun to step towards the commotion speaking immediately making a comment about the absurdity that Shy Fawn was among the Redmoon’s ranks.

He knew what was expected of him, silence. When his Alphess Stopped to speak he silently stood next to her eyeing the wolves they had approached. He glared at the company that surrounded the enemy leader. The she-wolf appeared timid while the brute looked stiff and ready to act. Destiny and himself had no advantage if things got out of hand so he knew only a conversation could be had to avoid loss of life or severe injury.

Dante was calm and smirked at his Alphess’s play on words hoping it would startle the enemy Alpha but he had a response. Dante rolled his eyes a simple no would have sufficed. He sneered when the enemy continued speaking saying he had imagined meeting her a different way. Now why would he want to do that?

He growled to himself, wishing this meeting wouldn't be so difficult. Nonetheless, he had left Starlight and joined Redmoon for one reason, and one reason only. He smirked at that. While he might have appeared undignified and weak, he was simply getting in so he could complete his gole. He was still smirking, but wiped it away as his alpha turned to look. They though he was weak? HAH! Worthless? Definitely not! Dangerous? Oh yes. Very dangerous. He had a plan for redmoon. A bad one. His shyness was simply a mask.

The darker ears and darker tipped tail moved a bit. She hummed a small canine sound or two, brown eyes glancing about a moment. She sniffed the air, waiting for something to happen. She saw Castor approach the buck, and he remained by the tree. She shook her head as she watched the two males, different species. She then saw as Castor gestured with his tail. She nodded her head, more to herself, and began to trot over. "Is he not blind or deaf?" she asked, since he could still be either of those.

They made a sound of worry as she looked at them then away. They saw the misery in her eyes...and knew it was because of Rusted's passing. They went and nuzzled her, then looked to Althea. "Althea...what do we do?" they asked the other healer.

They glanced to Mavis, letting out a small sound but nodding to her.

They nodded to the warrior male, and let out a breath. They knew Eros had dark fur, so of course it couldn't be him. He was also definitely bigger than Daisy anyway. They shook their head a couple times, but didn't question any further. "I want to look for her...but we need to speak to Althea first, then. We have to ask if she's okay taking care of Mavis." They pointed to where Althea was. They'd just been speaking to her, so she was still in the healing den with them.

She didn't really want to fight, but they were enemies...This meant they had to fight if challenged, if attacked, or whatever. She took this moment to look to the male with Destiny. She stared him up and down, then shook her head. She wasn't going to lie, he was a good enough looking male. He wasn't in their pack, though, so she shoved that thought from her mind. She didn't even know his name, anyway. When he sneered, she snorted and narrowed her eyes, but nothing more.

They were supposed to be talking, so he tried to think of a conversation starter.

Destiny couldn't help but smile softly as a voice made a comment that clearly meant it was not a joke. Her eyes flicked to the wolf who spoke, the RedMoon Alpha she presumed due to his front and center position. However the wolves beside him, with the exception of Shy Fawn stood watching their Alpha protectively. She could tell by the movements and stature of the wolves that he was well respected. Her eyes took him in, he was dark colored and well muscled, she noticed him stand up straighter as to take more of an 'in charge' appearance.
"It is a pleasure to meet you Liberty, I would of preferred also meeting on different terms" she commented with her gaze coming to meet his brown/amber eyes for a moment. Locking in on him, Destiny studied him seeing if the comments wanting no bloodshed was true or just said to let their guard down. Not seeing any signs of other wolves waiting to ambush she nodded slowly "I agree, bloodshed is ridiculous. Especially as winter approaches. There is hardly enough food as it is. And the healers herbs are about to be covered in snow. we can't let them run low on supplies because of border run-ins now can we?" she asked. She partly wondered about asking how his pack was holding up in the pre-winter, prey was already beginning to migrate into better climates and areas for the upcoming frost. Destiny turned to look at Dante, almost asking him silently for his opinion. She flicked her tail before opening her mouth again to introduce Dante "This is my Beta. Dante". Destiny figured introducing Dante would aid in providing the other pack some comfort in knowing they were not there to attack.

River lowered her head almost embarrassed "uh - I haven't hunted a buck ever" she said with a shake of her head. Hearing Kaija sound a little concerned scared River. She shook her fur out in anticipation watching as Castor had walked towards the buck. Kaija had mentioned something about the buck turning toward her and what to do. She nodded hesitantly "oh okay" she commented, her eyes not leaving the buck.

Blaze couldn't help but roll his eyes at the comment Shy Fawn made "We'll see." he commented. Turning his attention back to the Alpha's. His eyes studied the StarLight Alpha, she was not what he had expected however he was surprised at her sense of control in the situation. His eyes trailed to the black wolf beside her, he sized the wolf up. Knowing if something were to go south they would likely be the two fighting.
He couldn't help but shoot a small smile at Gauge as she echoed the words he had said to Shy Fawn. He nodded to her in a thanks before returning his attention to the Alphas once again. He dipped his head as the other wolf beside the StarLight Alpha, Destiny was introduced.

Perhaps her approach was a little dominant. Elle lowered herself to the ground and pinned her ears.
"Why are you alone. I'm Elle and i'm worried to see a young pup like you playing alone...Where is your pack?"
There was movement in the distance that caught Elle's attention even if for a brief moment. Though it was minimal and too far away to really distinguish, perhaps it was just birds playing in the tall grass. She looked back at Mikage for reassurance, but then looked back down to the wolf. Her gaze was at the pups forehead, not on her eyes. The last thing she wanted to do was intimidate anyone.

Kaija's body trembled hard his gaze followed Castor who ran to confront the buck. The thing didn't budge only faced him. Blindness was out of the question. Perhaps it was deaf. Kaija bolted forward, running full speed, with all of his strength forced forward. His paws met the dirt with heavy thuds and the buck swung his antlers to meet him. Kaija anticipated this and stopped, jumping to the left further from the reach of the bucks antlers.

He flicked his eyes a little confused when the pup said that she has not had to pack anymore "what do you mean? Did you get lost or escaped? what happened?" he decided to ask. He knew that bringing other pack pups to their pack will bring them a lot of problems.

He looked at the camp before seeing the Wolfcry walking back out of the healer's den, he turned to the warrior "fresh prey huh? Okey I can see what I can find for them to eat" he responded simply. This day sure was odd, so much was happening, but still, the morning didn't seem to get its normal start. He flicked his tail and started to make his way back toward the camp entrance 'my second hunt alone huh' he thought to himself.

She nodded to Wolfcry when he mentioned the annoying yet disgusting ticks. She was relieved that the weather was pretty freezy as those ticks could be much easier to remove and they may not have energy enough to take another wolf to annoy. She looked at Foxleap "rest and take a quick nap if you want to, Hakuren will get you something to eat and if you need painkiller just tell me" she responded to her, then turned to Whisper "I will get some mouse pile for your little tick problem... when Hakuren comes back you could try to eat something too" she said before turning to the den's entrance to head to the herb storage.

She perked her ears "yup, I do hear the water and smell it too, so freezy...do you think we are able to get past it by crossing the ice?" she asked them. She felt rather nervous to even think about what if that ice is not strong enough to bear their weight. she didn't mind the water, but ice cold didn't seem comfortable at all.

She followed the pups as they got closer to the river or she thought it to be a river she didn't really have another explanation about the sound of water "so...does anyone know do we need to cross the river to get to the other territory or, walk near it to get there?" she asked then realized something else too "by the way does any of you smell the border patrol anymore?" she asked sniffing the air.

Redmoon Pack
Castor - male - demi/ a - crush open - lead hunter - tags: River, Kaija, Labrador, Jessie

Kaija was a very large and heavy wolf, so when he jumped to the buck's antlers the buck's head got to that side as well, which felt like it had a little hard time keeping its balance, but the buck was still strong and fighting back. The buck didn't want to give up, so he was alert about the buck starting to use his other weapons like his strong legs when he could not fully use his antlers. He heard what Jessie asked, but he was too busy to actually answer her, but no the buck was definitely not blind, maybe he was half deaf or had other problems. He held at the buck's hips still even if he was in danger to get shot to the buck's hoof if he decided to start kicking.

He got to the buck and looked at the battle for a moment, trying to figure out where to hit. He tried to look at the side the buck's head was going at as the Kaija got to its antlers. The best way was to go to the same side and try to make the buck lose its balance so he strike to back of its shoulder. He was surprised at how strong one buck could be as he was still fighting against three large and medium-large wolves, but it was just a matter of time how long it lasts. Will the buck lose the fight first or will they?

He thought for a moment before shaking his head "no there is nobody that small and white than Daisy, Eros is dark-furred, and I don't think there could be any white rabbits at the camp either, it's not like they could be any white at this time of season either..." he responded. He looked at the Manfred who was talking to Mavis now "if I didn't see a ghost, Daisy is the only thing it could be at" he said. He flicked his ears "well do whatever you want...but I don't mind going to check for the pup, I don't really have anything better to do anyways...I kind of...eh...missed the patrol earlier..." he said with an embarrassed smile.

Liberty & Dante

Liberty- His golden eyes continued to drink in the Alphess and her regal image almost memorizing every tuft of out of place fur or when her coat delicately shifted colors around her saddle and on her hips. He of course was respectful and dared not let his eyes linger any where except for looking into her eyes as he listened considering her words pleased that both of them immediately agreed on one thing. The brute felt secure with out a worry of ambush because he had two of his best fighters at his side as well as a traitor and himself who was no slouch in the ways of combat. “I agree. Resources such as that will be scarce and should be sparsely used. My hunters work tirelessly even now to provide for the pack. So, I would offer a proposal that could help alleviate some of our packs shared struggles if you are interested.” He mentioned gaining respect for the she-wolf already due to the fact her views on things were the same as Liberty’s. He looked over his shoulder at Blaze and Gauge with soft eyes that seemed to be in thought even while he interacted with the Starlight Alpha. He cared deeply for them so he would offer his proposal to Destiny only to further benefit them and the others.

Dante: After the brief introduction Dante stepped forward bowing his head respectfully before standing proudly at his Alpha’s side whispering to her, “I would hear his proposal.” He said before addressing Liberty, “Hello Liberty….”


Liberty: He returned the respectful gesture with one of his own before responding to the ebony brute. “Dante and I have met before. It pleases me to see you well Dante last I saw you and your mate, Weiss, were wounded. How does she fair?”

Dante - His eyes widen at the mention of his beloved mate’s name he was surprised and taken back that Liberty could even recall that name after 2 long years of no interaction. When he responded his words quivered a bit as they left his lips. “Despite the magnitude of your efforts for us both. My love passed away later that evening.” At The mere mention of her name, brought the pain back, taking him to the deep, dark depressing Place he hides in the back of his mind. The events of that day played through his head in that moment like a movie, he remembers how he felt as he rushed breathlessly to her side as her broken lungs gasped and begged for air. Her fellow hunters fell in beside, struggling and doing everything they can to alleviate her pain. Thanks to the bravery of Liberty for taking the prey’s attention from Dante and the hunters they were able to be with Weiss as she passed. Liberty did return with herbs and other concoctions that Dante was sure he had received from his own healer. Yet all Liberty could do was take the edge of Weiss’s pain while she suffered. But one plot hole had always bothered Dante. What was Liberty even doing their in the first place back then?

Liberty - The brute looked down at his paws sharing the grief for a moment that he knew Dante was feeling. “It pains me deeply to hear that news…”

Dante - He cleared his throat and decided that there was no better time than now to thank the enemy Alpha. “When weiss drew her final breath she used it to pray and cast blessing’s on your name. All this time has passed and I never had the opportunity to thank you on her behalf. You sacrificed much.” No matter how hard he tried he could not force the ever growing lump of despair growing in his throat followed by a beaten look in his eyes to go away.

Liberty - “No wound I bore could ever compare to the loss. I would do it again because a part of me would like to think if I was in a similar situation that you would’ve helped me am I wrong?”

Dante: he breathed in deeply, minding his patience, and controlling his emotions. He returned to his previous state of mind, protect his alpha. “Yes, you are wrong I would’ve killed you.” He said sternly.

Liberty - he watched as Dante fell back next to his Alpha while smiling in reaction to Dantes comment, he truly should’ve expected nothing less from this Ebony brute. “….and that’s why you will always be a follower Dante forever kissing at the heels of your leader.” He added returning his attention to Destiny to see if she was interested. “I beg your pardon Destiny. Dante and I have history. “ he said almost laughing occasionally truthfully amused by Dante’s tough guy act.

He rolled his eyes in reaction to Blaze and Gauge once again reminding him of his position. Yet respectfully, simply so he could have a meal later, he dipped his head and conceded to the request of those around him. He knew what he must do but he didn’t know if he had the strength to do it. “I understand my position. Stop the incessant hissing.” He demanded in a whisper while listening to Dante and Liberty go back fourth. When he looked up all he could see was Blaze’s back side while the fighter stood near his Alpha protecting Liberty. He ignored the appearance of Eros.

having successfully escaped the camp without being noticed by any other adults, he trampled through the forest, ducking under branches, and pushing through bushes as he made his way to the borders between the Packs. But the young pup hadn’t anticipated, he was on the same path as those that he was trying to avoid so that he could successfully cross the borders so at full speed while he was looking back he ran smack into one of Gauges legs nearly knocking him self unconscious. The pup rolled head over heels as he came to a sudden stop underneath blaze. The pup could recognize the brute simply from the color of his chest. The pups ears tucked against his head and he shivered it out of fear. He knew the other two adults were not in charge of his discipline. Liberty was, and over the last year or so Eros and liberty had become extremely close. So close in fact, that eros even actually referred to liberty in most conversations as his father. A part of him hoped that Gauge and blaze would not pull liberties attention from the shewolf that he was speaking with. He whimpered softly as he lay underneath blaze looking over to gauge fearfully, “I…I….Don’t tell Liberty…” he whispered begging.
