I've been thinking lately about downsizing some of my store pet hoards...for example, I have 50 each of 3 of the 2016 store tigers:


along with the winged 2016 store dogs:


and the 2017 store lions:


and the 2017 store dragons:


and the much-coveted 2016 store cheetahs:


I'm considering dropping these hoards to just 20 each and using the rest for fodder...but I know if I change my mind later, trading for them is going to be a PAIN. Should I go through with it? I do really think I'll only need 20 to be content...

Also, am I the only one who gives my hoards cute, funny, or themed names? I also seem to favor the use of alliteration in a lot of cases lol

{I do that too !! I try to give my hoards like, punny names, or names that relate to the reason I hoarded it in the first place, and such XD}

{like I named this hoard "Make Like a Tree and Leaf" and that's still one of my favorite hoard names 😂😂}

{perhaps you could try a "test run" of sorts? You could put all your "extras" in a separate closed group, and see how just 20 of each pet looks and feels to you, without committing to one or another choice right away!}

I feel like all of my (pricier) hoards started on accident, and now I can't stop trying to offer for any I see LOL

My rare malk dragon hoard (goal is 50 rn) has grown exponentially since I started hoarding them a little over 2 months ago, as well as my White Feb hoard (goal: 20?), which I know is one of the smaller ones as I've seen some really impressive ones-- but I'm still pretty happy with these!

I'm SO happy that the fennec foxes turned out to be uncommon, they'll be easier to find!
I can now go on hoarding without fear lol.

I've got a few cute names for my hoards! My favorite name by far is "the silken windhoard" which is a hoard of those 2021 international dog day silken windhounds.

My 2022 jellyfish staff dog hoard is named "the dance of the moonlight jellies" after my favorite in-game event in my favorite video game, Stardew Valley! I've got a hoard of all death's head moth pets that is named "elegance is more important than suffering" which is one of my favorite quotes from NBC Hannibal.

And lastly, I recently renamed my pale pink/blue spotted advent hoard "the bubble bath" because I just think it's cute :)

After a long hiatus and adjusting to their "new" rarity, I finally finished my rainbow cat hoard, a collection i started in 2010 ^^
I now officially have 200 of them!

pheww I am definitely done hoarding after that, It was very difficult to get them after so much time being gone
