"Well, you're already here. Two's company, but three's a crowd." Kodiak said, his fur lying flat as he watched the scrawny dog run away.

June smiled once again and nodded. "I'm hoping you dont turn on me; your quite large." She said jokingly, flicking her ears and looking around the silent alley way as golden beams of the sunset bounced off the brick building walls. "Might you show me around? I'm from the other side of town."

"Sure. Not much around here but trash and the backs of houses. There are a few places around here that are noteworthy, I guess." Kodiak said and stood up with a slight sigh. He stretched his legs and started walking away.

June stood up and shook her fur out, trotting up infront of Kodiak and swiped her tail on his nose. "Why so glum? Do I bother you?" She asked with a smile.

"Nah, you don't bother me. I'm not really a "happy" person most of the time." Kodiak grumbled. As they walked through the dark alleyways together, he gestured to different places. "That hole in the asphalt over there is the entrance to where all the sewer rats live." He said.

June trotted over and stuck her head down the hole, the smell of rotting sewage and a tiny rat hissed from a distance. "Quite rude he was." Remarking the hissing rat. She padded back away from the hole and over towards Kodiak's side again. She looked up and smiled to him, showing teeth. "Well are you always this way? I think I can solve that. You ever played chicken?"

"Nope. I killed a chicken once." Kodiak said, noticing two eerie red eyes peering out at him from the hole. He got up and started walking again, eager to get away from the rats.

Junes tail rose and wagged slightly. "Well then," She chuckled. "Shall I teach you how to?" She asked.
