• sorry i was just on here but i thought of a good answer to this question so shhhh no i wasnt
  besides my autism,, probably my love for this place. like idk i've been here for almost nine years, and cs has remained to be one of the only consistencies in my life. i've met friends (even tried to get one of my irl friends to join a few years back,, i was successful in that she did join but she never used her account after her first visit here so it was mostly unsuccessful SKJHF) and lost others,, held and participated in countless giveaways,, got most of my dreamies (and then promptly gifted them away),, i even had one of those 'dear diary' series on the discuss and share your writing thread about seven years ago. cs has seen me at my worst and maybe not my best (not really sure if i've ever had one of those, i'll be honest), and it's to the point where i can't imagine what my life would be like if i had never joined. the site...worries me sometimes, because it feels as if it could change drastically or maybe even shut down at a moment's notice (probably more my anxiety talking there) but while it's still here i hope to love and appreciate it as much as i can
  
  ^ has dreams about going grocery shopping. i don't dream often but mine tend to be mundane as well, although occasionally they can be odd. for instance, the last dream i had, i was at a dinner party. i don't remember much of what happened but i do remember one moment when i realized i was in control of myself in the dream, and so i made myself think to wake up. idk when things like that happen, i always wonder if i'm actually in control, or if my brain is just trying to make myself think that i can affect what i do. like is it actually a lucid dream or is it a normal dream but my brain is simply giving me the illusion of control? those dreams are pretty rare for me, so :shrug: i may never find out

i care so deeply for other people and i hope that never changes. i am constantly trying my best to be my kindest and see the good in others and every situation. sometimes i do have a rough day and i struggle with this, but i just remind myself how much nicer it is to be kind (:

^ it's a beautiful thing to be part of such a strong online community! i'm so happy for you that you have found a home in chickensmoothie! and i hope you are able to one day find something else you love equally to hopefully ease some of your anxiety. that's a nice quote too. for some reason it makes me think about music and how even though everyone only has access to the same few notes and chords, people are able to create so many varying melodies. even though there is "nothing new," people are still able to create things that are new to us i guess?

i go to college out of state and fly home in exacrly a week, so i’m excited about that. not seeing my friends and not being in a big city will be kinda difficult but i’m excited to take a break and hopefully stop being so burnt out/sad all the time. thinking maybe home will help:)
^ first of all, you sound absolutely lovely i love when people post longer answers on here, i think it really shows how caring they are, and your post about kindness is so sweet yet so relatable… it can be really exhausting when people take advantage but it’s for the better <3 i hope you’re going alright!!!

i guess there isn't really any particular quality that stands out to me. obviously being a nice person is a given, and i admire people who are really bold and able to speak their mind (they also scare me at the same time lol, i definitely think they're cool and would wanna be friends with them though) also this isn't necessarily a personality trait i suppose but if i see someone who shares an interest with me, i immediately wanna be friends with them!! i rarely ever reach out though- basically all of the people i'm friends with now are people who've spoken to me first, and not vice versa. though i'd definitely like to put myself out there a bit more.

^ i'm really sorry to hear that; i've been going through a similar patch where it's been really difficult to start even simple things and the like. it really sucks. however, i hope that visiting home next week will help you feel a little better, as well as your plans for tonight! watching a ton of movies sounds like a fun way to take your mind off things, and i hope you enjoy your dinner! good luck on your finals, too! stressing over exams is so exhausting, so i hope you can enjoy your break as much as you can.

anything with vegan cheese. i've tried so many times to make dishes with vegan cheese work (since one of my friends who sometimes comes over for dinner is vegan), but they just... never taste right to my non-vegan friends and me? even if i try to flavour it accordingly to make it savoury, it always tastes kind of sweet, and idk... (most) cheese dishes shouldn't be sweet and i just can't get used to it. same with most vegan sausages - stuff like vegan minced meat is AMAZING if seasoned well, but sausages? the taste and texture always puts me off immediately. idk, maybe there's a brand out there i would like, or maybe i'm doing something wrong during preparation since i don't use vegan alternatives for my own meals, but right now i avoid any recipes that call for vegan cheese/sausages

^ i'd offer you one, but all i have is regular coke since i'm not a fan of diet sodas 😭

i do! all of my nicer clothes are best suited for colder months, so i always get excited when autumn and winter roll around! i don't know how people create cool outfits when they aren't able to layer things. i need to check out some tips so i don't have to look lame every summer lol

there's this local grill and hot pot place that i love going to! i usually get sweet n spicy tokyo miso broth and cook noodles (usually ramen or udon) in it. i also get a bunch of veggies, fried rice, and vegetable spring rolls. it sounds like a lot but it's always way more than i can eat. :') the atmosphere is very cozy, and the owner is the sweetest person on earth <3
