Also, I managed to get my hands on three of the novelisation books this year! The way they're written is really nice, gives you more of a look into Merlin's thoughts. I hope to get the whole set at some point. Fingers crossed!

yeah, they made books for some of the episodes! i think they were published in 2009? there's two series, one for older readers and one for younger readers (i have the older readers books) it's only a couple from each season, but they're really quite good. the spines line up to make an image, too i think sadpendragon on youtube mentions them in the video "my FULL bbc merlin collection"
