He nodded following the fighter "yeah, I think ticks don't live long without getting blood to eat...so maybe those things are dying out now" he responded to him "wondering where Whisper got so many of them at his nest?" he asked thoughtfully.

She moved around the Foxleeap's broken leg, using some bindweed to it, before using the stick to hold the leg in the right place without moving too much, using a lot of cobwebs to make the stick hold there. She moved the leg gently to see if the stick was tight enough there she looked back at Foxleps "now then your leg is done, but I am afraid you will need to stay at this den for a few days...you better not move too much either" she said to her.
She looked at Whisper too, but so far the fighter seemed very calm, anyway, she could do anything before Wolfcry comes back checking the nest to tell her what was on there.

She flicked her ears lightly back too when heard some movements at the dens where the elder got with the fighter and figured out that they were going out there now "let's hurry..." she said silently, speeding up to move to those bushes there which could maybe little bit hide them to move out of the camp without nobody noticing a thing.

She gave a quick look back to the den too, running after the two other pups. She looked at the woods as they got out of the camp, but they were not on the safe ground yet "we better get running, we don't know if Kikui and Hutten are planning to get out of the camp as well, we could still be spotted easily" she said feeling rather nervous. She gave a quick look around "let's use those bushes there, maybe we could hide there and sniff the right path to follow the border patrol" she said.

He nodded to the River with a smile, he was proud of the young hunter, she was still young, but still able to learn more and more about being a great hunter. He enjoyed wolves who took it seriously to bring food back to the pack, and didn't just laziness around and hunted something small when they felt like it. Hunting on a pack could be much less work for anyone, anyways, they could get bigger prey, which could keep the pack full longer. He looked at Kaija again "lead the way to the buck so we can do what where e come to this was to do anyway" he said, his tail flagging a little bit as he turned to the other male wolf.

He looked the buck there, then shook his head to Jessie "you have no idea how I wanted to do that, go and try if that is deaf or blind, but maybe better if we don't. Let's just wait for the others for now..." he responded silently "I don't want to face Castor or Kaija after we let the only buck away just to see if there was something wrong with it" he said with a laugh, then sighed.

He gave a small laugh when the healer almost jumped "hey hey no need to jump out of your fur yet Maison, I am not that scary" he said to him. He looked at the healer with a long stare "really? I am pretty sure I did see something small running out of the dens? well maybe I was just seeing things...who knows..." he responded confused, His eyes looked at the body of the elder once more "I see so there will be funerals for him later today then I guess" he said silently.

She looked at the hunter, flattering her ears a little bit, it was pretty obvious that Mavis didn't want company now and she was keeping her distance "alright see you later then Mavis..." she responded to her with a smile. "They hold up well when stored as well, though it takes more for them to work when they dry out." She trotted, almost weightless. Shadows graced her white coat as they traversed the woods outside of the den, and eventually more sun shined through the canopy as they closed in on the Meadow. "My mother only taught me some before I left my birth den. My father taught me the hunt, and my mother wanted me as a den sitter. Both of them thought it'd be best if I knew different skills, it helps a pack more. My mother was taking over for our Elder until someone else could step up."
Suddenly Elle felt strange and paused there to take in the scents. Fresh marks laid by other wolves, but something else as well. She edged outside of the treeline, lowering herself to listen, and watch. A young pup pranced through the grass. Why would she feel anxious about a pup? That didn't make sense, but perhaps it was just her expecting the meadow to still be quiet and void. Elle turned and looked at Mikage, her ears tall, and her tail twitching in a half wag. "Mikage, who is that? Is that Starlight?"

Kaija's tail swayed happily behind him as turned to lead them to Labrador and Jessie. "Him being alone benefits us, he shows no signs of illness. He's strong and plump."
As he came upon the other treeline, his pace slowed and quietened (?). The excitement drained now, his mind in work mode, anticipating Castors direction, and now ready for the actual hunt itself. He laid on the ground, eyes focused forward. "The buck hasn't moved," He bent a leg under his chest and rested his chin on the ground. Now seeing what was so strange of this situation, but as he'd said, it was a benefit to them. His tongue wrapped his lips at the thought of those antlers. Something so satsifying about dragging fangs across the bumps of a set of antlers...

Liberty

Liberty looked down at Shawn fawn with pity. He tilted his head thoughtfully while listening to Fawn beg to be enlisted once again amongst the ranks of the RedMoon. Liberty was not the type to bully his pack mates by forcing them to submit. Besides Shy Fawn had put on enough of a showing with his lack of sense of time. When Shawn fawn finished speaking and then bowed his head, Liberty glanced back at the two fighters who accompanied him pleased to see Blaze and Gauge had come in closer when Liberty foolishly stepped ahead of them even though he did so because he knew not to expect much of a fight from Shy Fawn. He figured their opinions should have the greatest sway on what is to happen with Shy Fawn. Shy Fawn’s reasons for leaving and reasons for coming back will be acquired later through simple talk.

“Blaze? Gauge? As wolves who have had to make due during Shay Fawn’s absence, Do either of you feel he deserves his position back?” Liberty did not have a high opinion of this wolf he seemed cowardly and feeble leaving the Alpha to question what could Shy fawn bring to his pack mates that they were already without. With winter coming another tummy to fill could also be a problem. But his anger was controlling his opinion and causing paranoid thoughts that could ultimately tear the already questionable relationship between the packs further apart.

After he spoke he glanced between the two Redmoon fighters again allowing his gaze to linger on either of them for a moment. Blaze seemed extremely tense his eyes scanning the surrounding areas for intruders near them. He was right to do so if Shy Fawn was here what other starlight wolf could be here? Could this be an ambush? Wrapped up in this conversation with Fawn kept Liberty from asking what Blaze could see and numbed his ability took look ahead for others who could be approaching. Liberty is relying on the perception of his followers.

Dante

Dante was deeply appreciative of Destiny's words which once again affirmed that his work was worthy of praise. At least he knew he wasn't wasting time being idle when work needed to be done. Acknowledgment fueled the want to continue to do right by his Alpha. Even if for whatever reason that things changed Destiny would always have his unyielding loyalty.

His eyes narrowed as he watched Destiny gather herself from her thoughts, he almost smiled it was a trait they seemed to both shares. Dante scented the air as well with a couple of deep breaths. He could only recognize by name one of the wolves he smelled it was Shy Fawn. What was that mutt doing here? “Yes, Destiny.” He said with a nod confirming he would not be aggressive essentially until told to do so. He agreed a Redmoon wolf would have to be brain-dead to think crossing their borders is a good idea. Though If any wolf made a move on Destiny he would steal their fate he was certain no wolf treasures their Alpha more than he does his.

As Dante approached the border under cover from some shrubbery that grew alongside the border path, he began to creep quietly and then glared at destiny when he heard voices but he couldn't make out what was being said except for some tireless begging he knew was fawn. He was certain they hadn't been seen yet, “Then should we eavesdrop?” he whispered, “I can't hear what they are saying from here..”,

Blaze held in a laugh, watching ShyFawn basically beg for forgiveness. It was low in Blaze's eyes. Why would you leave a pack, abandon everyone and everything and then come literally crawling back. He kept his composure, not letting anyone around him pick up on his feelings of disgust for how the wolf was acting. Blaze kept his ears pricked, that scent continued to come near. He remained on watch. Knowing he needed to alert his Alpha soon. As he was about to open his mouth, Liberty had asked him and Gauge a question.
Hearing Liberty mention the option of restoring ShyFawn to his prior rank Blaze shook his head "Absolutely not." he replied, his gaze turning to land on ShyFawn, his words were to Liberty but meant for ShyFawn "You don't get to abandon your pack. Leave your team to struggle with one lacking and then come sulking back wanting to be reinstated. That's like being rewarded for returning." He growled at the end of his sentence. Anger rising "This pack is not a second choice or a plan B " he added turning to look at Liberty once again with a shake of his head "I trust your judgement. If you think we are better to reinstate him then so be it. However, I believe the ranking should be earned. However, from being abandoned myself when I was younger. Being alone is far worse than a low rank"

Blaze's eyes flicked back to the brush ShyFawn had come from, something - no, someone was still there but he couldn't pin it. All he knew was it was Starlight Wolves. He stepped forward, towards the brush. He turned to look at Liberty once again "Hate to be the barer of bad news. But we again, aren't alone" he confirmed.

The darker ears and darker tipped tail moved a bit. She knew they couldn't risk the buck running off, so she nodded at him. "I know...but I wish there was a way to know. If there was a way to know without risking him running off...that would be nice. Unfortunately, there isn't..." she sighed. They'd have had to approach the buck to check. She shook her head a couple times, then her whole body. She then continued to watch, smelling the scents of the others approaching from the distance.

"You...saw something small run off...did it look like Daisy?" they asked. They let out a sigh, trying to stay calm. "She ran off earlier, but she came back and Althea found her in one of the dens. She could come back again. What if she doesn't, though?" they asked, growing worried once more.

"Blaze is right, he left our pack...If he wants his position back, he should earn it, but considering he left us once...I don't know about that." She shook her head again. "I smell them...and hear them," she said and narrowed her eyes a bit. She was sure it was probably Starlight wolves. "We're still on our side of the border. As long as they don't cross it, we should have no problems here."

The still handsome aging male smiled a wolf smile. The black-phase wolf twitched his ears and flicked his tail a couple times. They were supposed to be talking, so he tried to think of a conversation starter.

The pretty but handsome smaller and slender golden pup nodded. Brown ears twitched as the brown tipped tail slowly flicked. Brown and blue eyes looked back that direction again. Mavis hadn't known how long she was asleep for, until her body jerked awake with a sudden whimper. Opening her eyes Mavis had realized she had been dreaming, a small nightmare and had woken up from. Mavis sat up licking her back hind leg before standing on her four paws and stepping outside the hunters den, a loud yawn escaped her jaws before she made her way towards the prey ground to see if there was something small she could get before going about the rest of her evening. She hadn't eaten today despite going hunting earlier that day, but she just now felt hunger creeping up to her, so Mavis grabbed a mouse and sat down to eat it. After Mavis gulped down the mouse, she looked around her, it looked like every wolf was interacting with each other, some doing their own things and others going on small patrols. Mavis on the other hand, stayed to herself, she did what the alpha asked of her and naturally went on her own when she could. Although Mavis enjoys other wolves, and socializing as well as interacting with the pack, there was nothing more that she loved was to be by herself and watch everyone from the back, observe more than engage, but if a wolf was to engage with her, she would have no mind interacting with them, maybe do a little hunting party. Unfortunately there was a lot going on, drama and on top of that, the two packs where basically in war. Mavis stayed behind the scenes though, after finishing her mouse Mavis slowly started walking around camp, relaxing as she passed other wolves and headed her way towards the healers den. That morning while Mavis was hunting, she had accidentally cut her inner thigh leg, and had forgotten about it until now, when she noticed a sharp pain coming through it from the cold wind. As the she wolf reached the healers den, she stepped her paws into the cave wanting to get it checked out before it got worse. "Hello? Maison?" she called out to see if they were present.

Liberty sat back on his haunches his head tilted while he looked at Shy Fawn. The words from his pack mates carried the grief that Liberty expected his pack had endured during the absence of the brute. Blaze’s words resonated with Liberty both in their intention and emotion. Gauge seemed to be the calmest of the three sitting in front of Shy Fawn though she agreed her comments on the subject were barren of the emotion the Alpha felt. He was happy she was cool-headed at the moment.

“I’ve heard you both.” He said in a whisper glancing at both of them over his shoulder before returning his gaze to Shy fawn to hurry and settle this situation. “Then we agree. You will not be restored to your previous rank, as I am sure you understand. This packs only Omega position will be filled by You.” He returned to his feet getting prepared to march towards the unknown onlookers Blaze and Gauge were warning Liberty about. “You will eat last, drink last, and sleep with the weather. Shyfawn, you will only be given a permanent rank when you prove you are just as indefinite.” Once he finished speaking he lifted his muzzle to the sky to catch a whiff of the wolves Blaze and gauge hinted had appeared shortly after Fawn, he too smelled them thanks to being downwind today.

“Come the 3 of you we persist to the border to entertain the ears that listen. Shy Fawn? Do not disappoint me,” he said stiffly looking back down at Fawn before brushing the shoulder of Shy Fawn as he passed by “Fall in behind Blaze.” He knew without speaking that if Shy Fawn tried anything or proved he would be a danger to the pack that Blaze could solve the problem and Liberty would have no other handle it.

Tagged: Destiny Rank: Starlight Lead Fighter

Dante slunk against the ground creeping along the nearby bush for cover doing his best to get as close as he could so he could make out what the murmurs beyond the border were saying after a moment of quiet travel he could clearly hear what was being said. To be honest he hadn't considered what he may be getting himself and Destiny into but he strained his ears as best he could to clearly translate what was going on. They had arrived when Blaze was speaking.

He looked at Destiny and then whispered, “There are 4 wolves total including Shy Fawn and From what I have heard already I can tell we are being betrayed by Shy Fawn he is attempting to re-enlist himself back amongst their ranks.” he tilted his head listening still as Blaze continued, “The one that speaks doesn’t trust Fawn..” he whispered kind of distraught that they had trusted him for as long as they did. When gauge started speaking Dante could hardly hear what the she-wolf had said except he knew she had agreed. Yet Dante was confused the two voices speaking sounded like subordinates why were they passing judgment on this feeble wolf surely the new alpha ran his pack the same way. But to answer his question a deep voice that commanded respect passed the final judgment. “I can confirm their Alpha is here. He just allowed Shy Fawn back as an omega. A far nicer choice than I would have given him. What do you think Destiny?” he whispered sure that if the 2 fighters with the Alpha had half a brain about them that they could smell Destiny and Dante because unfortunately, the drafty breeze swept toward the Redmoon.
