Story: On a moonless night, up on a dark hill sat an old home. Run down from years of neglect and abandonment. When two young serpents came alone. Armed with two bags of various supplies like food, water, sleeping bags, flashlights and batteries. They had no where else too go and no tents to stay outdoors so they moved into the old building.

Slowly they would move around just to ensure it was safe and abandoned. There was barely any furniture, no beds, and the kitchen only had a table. Already an eerie sight but they picked a room to settle into. With shelves and moth eaten books, it looked vaguely like a library. With a skeleton of an ancient serpent suspended over head.

Surely despite that it wasn't that bad right?

They settled in and went to sleep. Only to be awoken frequently by the raging wind outside and an odd creaking noise. Maybe a loose window shutter or a draft rocking a door? Nothing to bad right?

Only for the time to soon tick over to 3:33am. Otherwise known as the witching hour, for a ghostly bellow to sound and rattling chains. The two serpent's snapped their eyes open to discover the skeleton above them thrashing and bellowing. Coiling and moving, reaching for them despite them being just out of reach. One screams while the other was frozen, panicking as it asks "what do you want from us?!" And the skeleton stopped, claws still outstretched to reply.

"I'm so hungry. And so lonely. Won't you let me make you just like me?" the two serpent's screamed again, abandoning their stuff and rushed out into the night.

When they returned, more brave in the morning and with many other to deal with the danger. They only found a clearing.

As if a house never existed there in the first place.

Calming technique: Inorder to calm an upset serp like this, I would play some music or sing them a song! Something sweet and gentle in a sense like When the sun loves the moon. Because maybe the serp is upset that these magma droplets they cry/fling make it so people can't show them affection? So maybe a song about love that doesn't need physical contact will cheer them up in a sense because it'll show them that affection or love isn't all about physical touch!
