This was probably one of my weirdest dreams, if not THE strangest dream I've ever had, and that's saying a lot. I have premonitions a lot in my dreams, along with a lot of other intense, horrific, or meaningful imagery.

So basically, me and a bunch of other people, mainly my age, were being experimented(?) on by a group of older people. There were two parts to the building that we were in- one, where normal folk would come in and out and live their daily lives, and us, the test subjects that everyone was oblivious to. They fed us laced food, in which everyone else was unaware of the side effects besides for me. It made us fall asleep, made us unable to think for ourselves, and wiped our memories.
We had set schedules and rules, and if you deviated from what you were supposed to do, you were punished and your memories would be wiped. I became aware of our circumstance, and wanted to secretly stop the experiment in whichever way I could.
I decided not to eat the laced food that night, as I heard that they were planning on setting fire to the building and restarting the experiment. I pretended to be knocked out as they were taking my peers back to their rooms. Apparently they switched our roomates every time they restarted, but I didn't know that at the time. I snuck back to my old room the second I got the chance, and proceeded to walk past the room where the older people were at. They were talking about something, but I couldn't understand what they were saying. I climbed into my bed, and again, pretended to be asleep. Someone walked in, and realized I wasn't fully unconscious. He forced me to take more of the sedative, and I consumed as little as possible.
At this point, I was hardly awake. I tried SO hard to get up, which for most people would've been impossible, but I was determined (it was the same feeling as when I forced myself to move during sleep paralysis. I told my friend that I forced myself to get up so hard that my spirit and body were detaching. He had no idea how I did that lol). I walked as fast as possible to someone that I recognized from the outside. I was trying SO hard to communicate with her what was happening to me, but one of the older people in charge of the experiment recognized me and tried to separate us without acting weird in front of her. I could hardly speak and it was getting increasingly hard to move. My voice sounded strained and breathy. She stared at me strangely and started walking away. I kept trying to tell her what was happening and that she needed to listen to me. She didn't seem to care and walked out the door in front of us, as the man pulled me back.
I woke up soon after that and can't remember if she understood. I don't think she did.
When I woke up, I was so inspired to write a book or something with this dream as the plot. I don't really know how to write stories, though.
